Thursday, January 19th, Cardio & Cafe

Morning!

Ive got lots of stress going on, trying to stay away from the food. I could have done better last night....was tempted by a darn brownie. I did go to Zumba though and worked hard!

I believe we are going out to dinner tonight. Family is spread out at appointments tonight and we were discussing meeting for dinner, not sure where though.

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
Banana
Weight Control Oatmeal
Leftover beef stew. I picked out mostly beef and carrots
Either a protein bar or Atkins Mocha latte shake if I feel the monster creeping up.
Not sure about dinner...

Hi Mary:

Next time that brownie assaults you, go flush him down the toliet.  That will teach him who is BOSS!  I use to have a weakness for honey buns.  Now, everytime I think about them I picture them attached to my butt.  Not a pretty sight.  Can you imagine me doing Zumba with those attachments!!

Today is going to be a REALLY GOOD DAY!  Logging in early today.  Doing my darnest to still to the plan.

EM - EAS Protein Shake
         20oz Decaf Coffee
B -    (2) Turkey Patties (Jimmy Dean) w/ EggWhite Spinach

L -     WaWa Chicken Caesar Salad without the croutons
          Caesar Salad Dressing (2 Tbsp)
D -    Salmon Pattie w/ Garlic Spinach

Planning to do the treadmill & some weight training after work today.
Yep...today is going to be a good day!

Go work that treadmill and pump some iron.  You can do it.  I keep pushing my husband to go higher on the incline on the treadmill.  He told me this morning that he wore Reeboks not Nikes and this was not a "just do it" moment.  I told him Reeboks said "just did it".  Had my incline at 7.0.

Good Morning everyone!  Been crazy busy this week with college starting back up for the girls, which means babysitting for me a few nights every week. Excited to spend a whole night alone with my husband on the 28th for our anniversary, seems we haven't had that for a few years since the grandbabies started arriving.

Food today:

B-2 slices turkey bacon, egg, hash brown patty
S-String cheese, piece of beef jerky
L-Turkey bagel, dry roasted edamame
S-Quest bar
D-Chicken & dumplings, roasted green beans

Cardio:
Treadmill and yoga.  I have discovered trying to do yoga with a 2-year old helping you is a workout in itself.  I don't mind, I like teaching her healthy habits early.

You know you look way to young to be having grandbabies.  I told my daughter and son n law that I was good for another five years.  besides, I still have a sixteen year old at home.  I hope you do get to enjoy your anniversary with your hubby.  Have a great evening.

I ordered the natural sample pack of Quest bars.  So far I have tried the Lemon Cream Pie and Strawberry Cheesecake and both are really good!  Thanks for recommending them.

Good Evening everyone, here's my eats for the day.

B: Greek yougurt
S: 2 celery sticks w/pb, 1/2 an apple and 1/2 of a small chocolate donut ( I know, I know)
L: at 4:30 p.m. 1/2 of a cheese quesadilla w/salsa
S: Grande skinny vanilla latte
D: EAS choc protein shake
S: Sugar free popsicle

I was really busy today so I didn't add up my protein, cal and carb totals which I know is what gets me in trouble so I will be pre-planning tonight for tomorrow. I want to do the 5 day pouch test but my sugar always drops when I try doing it.

Sometimes it is better to look at what you did good on and give yourself a pat on the back.  Tomorrow is another day to make a better choice on what you did not do so good on.  I try to plan out a weeks worth of dinners for my family so I always know what is on the menu, not specifically what day it is on.
