Back On Track Together
Dreamgirl119 says may I?
Hello BOTT Family,
Like the game we use to play as children...Simon says...I feel like I need to knock and ask "May I." I have been away so long.
I had RNY in January 2007, lost 97lbs. and have regained 28lbs. I never reached my goal of 140lbs. Before I began this post I was looking at my personal journal and it's makes me realize why I'm having so many eating issues, and why I've fallen off the wagon.
I changed jobs and almost two years ago and went from working nights for over 15 years to working days. I'm still having a problem with my sleep pattern and the constant parade of food is just "CRAZY."
As one of the original members of BOTT I am seeing the old eating habits creeping back in, the clothes get tighter, the scale moving upward. I haven't posted in my journal since 7/6/2010; bad, bad, bad.
Well, I'm back and pressing my "Life Alert" button. Don't want the old health issues to creep back in like the weight so I'm "back on track."
Happy New Year

Welcome back! I come and go as well. This is OUR year! I also never made it to goal. I have lost and kept off 72 lbs. from my highest weight and have 58 lbs. to goal....are we twins or what? My rny was in 2006 and in 2008 I was in the Restore trial (which failed across the board so they stopped it early). I lose very, very slowly, but I can lose and so can you. We have to start somewhere. We all eat differently as you can see if you read the "cafe and cardio". We just have to figure out what works best for us. Happy New Year! Just me
