Monday, December 19th, Cardio & Cafe

Good Monday Morning Botts:

Last week before Christmas.  Are you Ready?  I am still wrapping but I am closer than I was before.  My eats and cardio for today are:

5:00 AM 1 hour walk on treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Shake
Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar
Lunch:  Peanut Butter Pure Protein Bar
Snack:  Cheese & Crackers
Dinner:  Chicken & Green Beans
Snack:  NSA Ice Cream Sandwich

Have a great Monday.  Don't forget vits and fluids.

O boy... only a few days till Christmas.

Last weekend - I really indulged.  Friday and Saturday were fine, even though I had 2 parties. But Sunday... o boy: chocolate, chocolate covered cherries, and wine, and (gasps !)... bread...
This morning... sugar cravings got the best of me  and I had chocolate covered cherries for breakfast.  I can't believe I did... O well... from now on, only good food... lol

chocolate covered cherries
Coffee + almond milk
peanuts
turkey + veggies.
maybe some fish - tuna?  with pickles.
and then some dinner...
pork loin with mushroom sauce,
and some cheese...

This is the first Christmas that I can remember in a long time that I am going without Chocolate covered cherries.  They are my favorite holiday candy and my downfall.  I can never eat just one sigh.....I still remember the taste so I will have to survive on that, but could you please eat one for me too, maybe I get the good taste vibe off of you.  Have a great day!

lol , send me a PM with your address and I mail you 2. just 2.  lol.

They are "Harry and David" brand... I think ... soooooo good... red... when the outside start melting in your mouth... it taste like cherries... and then the chocolate hits you... and then there is the dry cherry center.... yummy.... seriously - send me your address and you will get 2 pcs.  

I thought the sugar in them will kill me, but I ate 3 and was fine....

If you sent me two, I would have to drive down to get the rest.  lol.  Just reading you describe them to me, I almost went into a sugar coma.  I will be glad when this week pasts.  I just ordered me the new Natural line Quest Bars to try.  I am looking forward to the Cinnamon Bun one...

Hala...thank you for your honesty and transparency!!  Damn the chocolate, I say!!  LOL  

It happens to the best of us...or at least to many of us. I've been trying to avoid one of my co-workers desks because she has a huge tin of chocolate candy on it that my hand can't seem to resist when I am standing there talking to her. I've decided to use our inter-office chat feature when I need to talk to her for the next week...or at least until the candy tin is GONE!  So far, I haven't gained any from my extra nibbling, but that is only because I am back in the gym 3 - 4 days a week.  But the chocolate sure does give me gas. 

TURKEY, TUNA AND PORK LOIN...all great choices, nutritionally, and tasty, too!!  
Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels!

Normally , I do eat chocolate... but only 85% dark. Sometimes the 72- or 75%. But even then - a few pieces at best. 

And other work chocolate - does not bother me. I even baked brownies for people. and deliver... 
The exercises does not work for me...  except the horizontal with a BF... ... And some dancing. 
A lot of times exercise gives me low BS, and that sucks...
I try to follow the diet - low fat Atkins... .  That works best for me so far.  But did a lot of shopping (was so tired....so it must be a heavy workout) and the cooking... (backing require multiple bends to check the item in the oven). 

But overall...  it is mostly meat, and cheese, and more proteins.  Even fruits were eaten in limited qties.  ... until last night and this morning... chocolate covered dried cherries and  other fruits can be counted towards fruits? right? 

lol.... 

But the rest of this week - I will be good.  And then I go on 7 day cruise with a BF and his family. So carbs - limited, very limited.  The gas and the smell.... and the cabin is so small... and I do not want to get sick.  With a  lot of love from my BF - I don't need chocolate.  Well... maybe a piece... But the real , not SF.... that would kill both of us in our sleep... (the gas...)

i love the queen annie's chocolate covered cherries. i love the goo inside OMG. lol

todays eats so far

30min tread mill burned 240calories!

b:oatmeal w/ protein
s: 4 Cauliflower florets LOL w/ one crustless quiche. made from egg and turkey sausage
l: 4 crustless quiche  (mini muffin size)
s: atlins bar
d: had a taco ugh

 I love the queen anne ones too.  How fast are you moving on that treadmill?  I burn about 300 calories in a hour but I start out at 3.2 miles and go up a point every ten minutes so that I end on the last ten minutes at 3.7.  I am truly impressed with you...

i walk 3.5 mph at a 5% encline for about 28 mins. the first 2 mins i warm up LOL
