How much protein are you getting each day?  When my weight loss stalled, I upped my protein from 60g +/- to 80g +/- each day...that helped.

Do you have a registered dietician (or nutritionist) that you can consult with...through your surgeon's office?   Meet with him/her and go over your typical intake per day/week.  He/she should be able to point out what is going on and where to go from here.

Are you doing any exercise?  I keep my calories around 1000 a day and my proteins around 80-90 grams.  Also, my carb intake is under 100 usually around 70 grams a day.  I burn 300 calories a day walking 1 hour on the treadmill.  So in reality, I guess I am netting 700 calories a day.  I truly believe that if I was not exercising everyday, my weight lost would come to a quick end.  As it is, I am losing around 4-5 lbs. per month.  I can live with that.  I have officially lost 60 lbs as of yesterday in a 7 month period.  I know you can still take the weight off that you want without going back for more surgery.  I will be glad to help you anyway that I can.  Just try to get through the holidays and we will all start brand new after the 1st of the year.

How is Ur fat intake ?

This is  a VERY nonjudgmental question !   Some people  do GREAT  on a high fat high protein diet .
However I am NOT  one of them .

My body  grabs and holds onto fat like the devil and if I empty  out a fat cell  after a tremendous  effort and I eat ..say  , a serving of butter ... I wake up that much heavier .   Literally my body grabs it that fast .

So for me ,  figh fiber  , largely fat free eating fits the bill.  ( and yes i do eat carbs- but only fat free ones )

The only way that I would be  able to go back to a normal 30%  fat diet is if I liposucked my empty fat cells off   .. which I WILL do one day soon.

How do I keep the fat cravings at bay ?   I take a large flaxseed oil ( omega 6)  and  an evening primrose oil (  Omega 3 ) capsule every day ...

hugs   (((()))))

Also U may want to consider switching to tea  vs coffee .. takes an average of 10-15  lbs off overthecourse of a year by gently speeding  up Ur metabolism..

not sure on the fat intake. its usually pretty low. maybe i should take a flax seed oil and the primrose oil. i started back on my vits. trying to stay focused on them too. im just at a loss to be honest nothing is helping. I talked to a friend at work she is 7 years post op and she said at least your not gaining most people have gained weight that have had it.

The two kinds of oils the body NEEDS to regenerate cells will help reduce cravings for foods a LOT .

beyond that I would honestly say ... get down as low as possible by running swimming etc..then get liposuction. The empty fat cells are ALWAYS going to generate extra estrogen to perpetuate themselves ... and the estrogen makes U hungry ...

liposuction is cheap and a ( semi) permanent solution . I've done it twice.. and yes a fat prone body does try to regain... and the amount they can take off without scarring and/or skin laxity is relatively small ( like3 lbs ) so the cells HAVEto be EMPTY EMPTY EMPTY for it to matter .

But when U do do it ..U want to eat a LOT LESS . Forever . And it costs like $ 1500 bux an area ... so $3,000 bux total ..

NOT unattainable . The results last like ten years ... then most people outeat em ... ( or metabolism slows down)

Why struggle forever ? We DESERVE to finally be 100% happy and to feel truly BEAUTIFUL ..
