Anyone here?!?!

Im back...

This is my story, I was born of a cold winter's night...

LMAO, Im kidding. Ok here goes lap-RNY Jan 2008, went from 336-185, and then back up to 210!! YIKES... Im freaking out!

For what its worth, can still fit the same clothes, but 210, will become 250, then 300... in a blink of an eye.

HELP!!

Where do I begin? 5 day pouch test? I dunno, Im clueless...

Hi Getaway Girl,
Welcome to BOTT!  There's a few of us around.  It's amazing how fast the weight can creep up.  It's good that you caught yourself before it get too out of hand.  A lot of people do the 5 day and have much success!  Take a look at Cathy's guidelines about "Getting Back on Track" at the top of the forum.  Basically, you need to get back to the basics of a newbie.  Protein first, no "white" carbs, no drinking with meals, journaling your meals in advance and start working out.  Stop by and let us know how you're doing.  You CAN do this!

Hey there Deb!

Thank you so much!

Ive been naughty.... and I know alot of it is stress, and water weight because I hadnt been taking my water pill in months. Havent been sleeping in weeks, just coming off of being sick for 3 weeks.

Lost some weight while on vacation in St Maarten back in November, so I know its been the 'carbs'ad inactivity. Because for all the eating I did (pizza/rice/dessert) .... it was countered with playing on the beach, shopping, swimming, snorkeling. Gone for 2 weeks, my clothes I wore down there were actually looser, when I came back!

LOL.... but thank you so much. Damn Xmas egg nog and treats got me all puffy. But Im in check now.

*muah*  Thank you much !

GAME TIME!

Welcome to BOTT!!

It is a good group and a few of us still here.  I am glad you caught yourself before you got to 250 also.  It is not easy but definitely a can do.  I use myfitnesspal.com to log my food and exercise.  I love this site and it is an excellent source of support also.  I have also set up a support thread for WLS patients also over there.  If you want to join me over there, please send me your email address and I will send you an invite!   You can do it!  Just be patient with the process.  Deb covered it all.  The packet that BOTT supplies is very good!

Thank you so much, Y'ALL!!

Since coming back, Ive already lost 7lbs! Might just be water, I am like a damn sponge. LOL Plus my periods coming, so this is gonna be interesting.

Im eating more actually MEALS, not snacks.

Brkfst> 2 eggs, sunny-side UP
             1-2 slices wheat toast

shake-maybe

Lunch> turkey or salami sandwich w/lettuce & tomato

pm snack(when I need it) > some tea & oatmeal cookie

Dinner> Then Curry Garlic chicken, couscous w/vegetables

Dessert (if I 'earned' &worked out)> Muscle Milk Lite

(That was yesterday)

Doing my shakes  2 or 3 times a day.

Wearing my pedometer and trying to do 5,000-15,000 steps a day

And, how about this... jumping jacks 2-3x a day. Hee Hee... 50-100 at a time, then some good old fashion sit-ups.

only thing left to conquer is my sleeping habits. Im having so much trouble sleeping thru the night. Trying to develop a better habit for that. But thank you, Ill update on my progress!

Think the main key was just f*cking being lazy, not really eating and not exercising. DUH!!!!!!

I'm in the same boat! Lap RNY April 08 was 341 and got down to 183 and am now 213. Ah! Getting back on track slowly but surely. The support of this group and just reading and knowing you're not alone really helps. Keep it up, you're doing great!!
