How did you do so far?  how is your list ? shrinking or expanding?  Either one is good.
For me - since i am goal oriented - I need goals. But as my sign line said - even when i do not do as well as i wish I could - I just get up, dust myself off and start all over again...

Please post - keep your self accountable.   It is a life journey.

How did I do?  great in some areas - so so good in others.   I accomplished my goal of losing weight - so - I know I can do it... just takes time and practice.

Here are my goals: (red indicates my how I did)

1.     Maintain my weight – and make sure I drop to within my weight goal -  done - good weight this morning.

2.      Yoga and walking and other exercise –

·         Yoga  - min 4 times a week,  - only did 2 times

·         Walk – min 1 mile per day average – can be done in one day a week – or 1 miles a day – but only brisk walking count (no mall, shopping, or like that counts – that is a bonus)  - last week only walked 4 miles... but spend all day shopping and walking on Saturday... can count for something.

3.     Healthy eating –

a.      no artificial sweeteners,  - none - done

b.     no “junk food"  - including the fudgesickles.  - done (found out that fudgesickles have Aspartame - and since I get headaches when i eat that stuff - I was able to resit the urge to buy them - good for me)

c.     a lot of vegetables and proteins: based on my meals – proteins + not so good - did not have enough veggies.  Need to work on that.

d.     some fruits – 2 serving of fruits a day - done.

e.     No Alcohol.  - not so good in this area... but I did not get drunk...

f.      Limit coffee to 1 a day.  - well... working on it - today is a first day..

 4.     Vitamins and minerals: Make a schedule and make sure to take it every day.  ALL of them.  - Still working on that...  meaning - I did not do too well on that...

Regaring number 4.  I bought one of these http://www.forgettingthepill.com/cgi-bin/ForgettingThePill/o rder.cgi?orderone++Organizers+1+357+1 and I break out all my pills one day a week and fill them all up.  Then in the morning (or evening before) I pop it in my purse.

The one thing I almost ALWAYS have with me is my cell phone.  I have an alarm ring every 3 hours to take my vitamins/minerals.  It's funny being almost 3 years and doing this for the last 1 1/2 when anyone here's my alarm they are like it's Ms Shell's pill time.

Thanks. I have the pill organizers ... but last 2 weeks i did not fill them... Every day i promise myself I do that that evening... and I get home late or... forget... and morning is back to .. getting the pills from the individual bottles...

My problem now is that I also need to take ulcer medication... and that need to be at least 2 hr before vits - minerals, and at least 1 hr after... so i either take that (when my pouch starts hurting really bad) or the vits - minerals.

i have not taken time to sit down and try to figure things out - that - and with food... i tried a few times - but always realized that I would need to take some pills at night - set up alarm, etc... Thanks for motivation me... .

I am doing okay, but I did eat some non-nutritious food at the fair and it was really not worth it.  The corndogs looked SO GOOD... but tasted icky so I threw most of the breading away and at the hot dog, but it was too fatty.  At least I lost my taste for tons of fat even if I didn't lose my sweet tooth.

I know what you mean.  I ate some food a few times, "remembering" how it should taste - but got disappointed.  Or got sick... lol.

I kind of look at it as a perk from RNY, but there are times I wish I had the DS so I could eat more.
