I walked 3.5 miles, with some spurts of jogging - I am trying to keep my heart rate up and cut down on the time spent in the heat! After walking - I have protein drink mixed with my coffee and keep a log of my proteins. Right now I am working on putting at least 4 hours between meals and getting plenty of fluids. If I cannot make it that far, I will try 1/2 protein bar first! Or something else high protein and chew, chew, chew!
