Back On Track Together
Working During the Day...
Hello BOTT Family,
My attempts to find a new job after being laid-off have been successful. Most of my work life I have always worked the off hours or late night hours. For the first time since my surgery and for the first time in over some thirty or more years I will be working DAY WORK!
Since I always worked the off hours I always considered myself fortunate not to be around the office for the donuts, the pizza parties and other temptations lurking around. Trying to get back on track and staying focused is going to be a real challenge!
Working the off hours I always carried my "Survival Bag" with my lunch and dinner. I think I have a fear of the change in the hours, my eating schedule, and the new environment. Any suggestions?

OK Dreamgirl - be a brave little buckeroo
Still carry (or have your stash in your desk) you survival bag, still take your lunch. Look at this as an adventure - NOT a disaster.
I know, I know we are all creatures of habit (and how I HATE to admit I am) and I know how miserable I would be working at night - actually I wouldn't be miserable, I'd be asleep LOL
Just remember how stressed you were when you thought you might not have ANY job. Celebrate your good fortune at finding a job. (It is so easy for me to be brave for you LOL)
