Thank you for letting me join the group. I am struggling with my lap band- long story- short- lost 77 lbs in 1.5 years. 1/09 became very ill with ulcerative colitis- lost 30 lbs- bedridden for months. band was emptied so I could eat and regain strength.  Recovered- gained the 30 lbs back and another 20+. Band was slowly refilled. Had a fill under fluro- Dr. took the fill out again, saying I was already too tight. I am exercising 2-3 times a week. I can still eat way more than 1 cup per meal, I have been gaining wt monthly. Trying to start over. I am looking forward to getting back on track.

Hi Cathy,
welfire.gif  I'm not up on the band, so the only thing that I can say is to read Cathy's post at the top of this forum.  Make sure that you stop by and post your cardio and food plan, it really helps me, if I don't have a plan, I get really messed up (like yesterday).

Hi Cathy,

Welcome to BOTT.  I'm sorry for the difficult time you've had.  I'm glad that you've recovered and back on the mend.

You are in the right place as all of us share the journey of getting back on track and/or staying on track.  This group is full of very special members.  I cannot say how much this group and BOTT members have made a difference for me.  I hope you'll post often.

BOTT POWER to you!

Welcome Cathy!!!  You have come to the right place.  This is my 1st month posting back to OH.com and I have did good this month.  It has made me very mindful of my goals to get back on track daily.  If you post regulary it will keep you mindful of what you need to do daily to stop gaining weight.  BOTT is a great group!!  You can and will succeed!!
