Fell Off The Wagon...Climbing Back On Again

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while since I've been here...L-O-N-G story and so I'll just suffice to say that my apartment flooded during the "Georgia Flood of 2009". I've been displaced since that time; however, I'm "finally" about to get back into the apartment.

Unfortunately, I've not only been displaced in my living space but also in my efforts to stay on track. Ugh! I find that I've gone back to some old and VERY dangerous habits (i.e., binge eating candy!) I was recently diagnosed with anemia due to my lack of discipline...not to mention that my thyroid level has dropped. I find that I've put on about "30" lbs. of which I'm not the least bit proud. However, I am making another attempt to climb back on the wagon and get back on track. I plan to stay connected regularly to BOTT as you are my sole support in this effort!! I look forward to making friends and helping others in any way that I can.

Take care and have a great BOTT day!

Donna :)

Hi Donna,
Well, they say bad luck comes in three's.  Soooo, that means only good things will happen!
Welcome back to BOTT!

You can do it Donna!  Stress can be dangerous and I know too well about binging.. Hang in there and if you have to - start over every day, or even every hour.  One slip doesn't sink the ship - it's just a shot across the bow as warning.  Hope things only get better from here.

Welcome back, Donna!  :)

Life sure gets ahold of us sometimes -- the big thing is getting back on that horse, as they say!  That's the beauty of this forum....we are all here to understand, support and listen...looking forward to your being a part of the group again!

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.
