Thursday - Cafe and Cardio
I had my doctor appointment this morning. I really like him, had him for years. Today was kinda weird. He went on and on about Religion and Politics. Two things that I hate to talk about. That's never happened before. I walked out of there thinking, did we even talk about what I was there for? He did have my blood drawn to check out the stats. Hopefully, I'll get more out of him when he calls with my results. I'll be hitting the gym shortly. My food plan:
Breakfast - Ezekiel toast and fage
Lunch - protein drink
Snack - protein drink
Dinner - orange chicken w/brocolli
Snack - fage

Walking, stairs and staying within my calorie limit so all is well with the world. Energy a little low so am going to take an extra vitamin every day for a while. Will get a bit more iron that way and hate to take iron tablets because it mucks up my elimination system even more than it is already.
(I;m sure that's a whole lot more than you really care to know LOL)

Ohhh, I know its late, but I decided to post anyway. I hope you made out okay at the doctor's Deb, isn't it amazing the things they choose to talk about...it does make you wonder sometimes what side of the bed they got up on! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and today. I went to see the WLS surgeon yesterday, which wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. He's going to work with me on getting my eating back under control and he also set me up an appointment to see the psychiatrist for some counseling to deal with my depression. Today I saw the breast cancer doctor for a followup. It's been four months since my last visit and the lump is still there so I'm for another mammogram. They want to see if there has been a change in the size of the lump or any abnormalities which would require further test.
My spirits are good and I do feel much better since talking with Dr. Dallal, he wasn't as hard on me as I thought he would be...it fact he was very sympathetic to my cir****tances.
Changing my diet a little bit, adding something that I usually don't eat. A little more fiber and fruit. See if this works for me...I thing I'm still trying to find my balance. Wow, didn't mean for this to be such a long post..so I'll stop rambling now.
