My 1st day on the 5DPT

OK so I decided to go ahead and drink my coffee while doing this. If I don't get the results I want I will do it again without the coffee.

Day 1 Monday weight 317.2

Food for the day (liquids)
6:00 am ~ vanilla whey protein shake with vanilla soy milk ~ 29 grams of protein
10:20 am ~ same as above ~29 grams protein
12:30 pm` a sugar free low fat vanilla yogurt.. ok this wasnt on the list but pudding was and its about the same thing right? ~ 11 g protein
2:15 pm~ cream of chicken soup ~ 1 and 1/2 cup ~ 9 grams of protein
5:00 pm ~ Protein shake ~ chocolate unjury with 1 vup vanilla soy milk ~ 36 grams of protein
7:00 pm ~ 2 cups cream of chicken soup ~ 13 grams of protein


vitamins:
IN the AM... spaced out:
1 paxil 60 mg
1 buspar 15 mg
2 biotin 1 mg each
1 womans one a day
2 b-complex
1 vit c hi potency 500mg
1 multivit stress formula energy metabolism
1 calcium 600 plus d3
1 d 1000IU
1 iron 28 mg
EVENING PILLS
1 multivit stress formula energy metabolism
1 womens one a day
2 biotin 1 mg each
1 b complex



my water intake not counting anything from above is 108 oz so far but i'm sure I'll get in a few more ozs before bed

I rode my exercise bike for 45 mins and did 50 reps with my 3 pound weights. Plushousework (any movement counts right?)

I only got hungry once and I had a protein shake and did great the rest of the day and I haven't had any blood sugar drops that I know of. I didnt get shakey at all. But I did get tired around 3 PM.

So hows everything look to you? Am I doing good? Bad? OK? Do I need to tweek anything?

Just remember:  this is NOT a weight-loss program.  It is only to get rid of carb cravings.  The woman who originated this program is often frustrated when people want to use it only to lose weight.

What you're doing looks great.  Good luck!

Thanks, Yeah I know that it's not for weight loss. I'm using it to get back on track water and carb wise. Plus I had been drinking with my meals. So I'm hoping that this helps me stop that. Have a great day.

It sounds like you did a good job.   I have started it a few times, but never get past day 2.  It still seems to help, though, as I usually can feel that restriction again even after 1 day.
