Good Morning BOTT Family,

It's MONDAY and the beginning of a new week!  The weather this weekend has been absoultely gorgeous and I'm sure of a sample of all good things to come.  I'm hoping you were able to enjoy the time with your family and ffriends and the "FOOD  DEMONS" didn't ride on your shoulders too much!

I'm glad to say that I am back after a little self imposed hiatus, and with good news.  I have found a new job which I will begin on April12th.  My current employer which gave me notice that I was being laid-off on April 8th has also made me an offer to stay, by placing in another position within the company.  I declined the offer!

Being stressed and depressed during my absence here from BOTT, I have managed to gain quite a few pounds.  I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday with the surgeon, and I had hoped to be at my goal weight when I saw him.  I know he is not going to be happy; more important than that I'm not happy with myself. Today, I'm back on track and more determined than ever to achieve my dreams and my goals.

My plans for today...

Exercise:

Treadmill
Weight training

Foods:

EM - Protein Shake
B -    Spinach Omelet w/ Pepper Jack Cheese
S -    Protein Shake
L -    Protein Shake / Coffee
S -    Protein Shake
D -    Grilled Chicken w/ tossed spinach salad LF Italian dressing

HAVE GREAT BEAUTIFUL BOTT DAY!!

Dreamgirl,
Congratulations on the new job!  How exciting!
Although, it was nice that your current company thought well enough of you to offer you another position with them.   I'm glad that you decided to go with the new job, change is always good!  New job, New you!

Good morning all~

Congrats on the new job and have a blast with the grandbabes!

I was visiting friends in paradise last week - no good internet connection.  Wonderful time socializing but a struggle to stay on track.  Back now - although traveling again Wed so exercise will be the challenge this week.

Plan is to start the 5 day pouch test and see how I do with day three on airplanes or in airports all day.  But one-day at a time...... so today:

Decaf Coffee
Protein Drink
Broth
Tea
Protein Drink
Pudding (legal stuff :-))
Protein Drink
Broth
Protein Drink
Water, vitamins/minerals

Exercise - playing with my 3 year old grand babe and trying to get to the health club for 30 min of cardio and 30 min of weights.

Have a great day all!

Hey all!

Sorry I've been MIA for a week. Its been busy and crazy at work, I had no computer (mine died) and several projects to handle at foreign computers. But I'm finally back up and running on my own this week, and just trying to keep it together with more projects. Don't get me wrong. I like being busy. It makes me not snack, especially.

I'm working hard on water this week, feeling thirsty ALL the time. I had a bad night's sleep last night, if you could call it sleep at all. But I had a cognative nightmare. I sat in the dream and said to myself "Okay, take a look around and tell me if this is real"... and it wasn't. So I didn't get worked up too bad in the dream, and hopefully caught a better REM for the hour or two I did sleep. Its neat when you do that. They say its a rare ability to be able to do in your subconscious. Makes me wonder if I'm easily hypnotized or not!

Cardio - Rainy today, will try to do something though!

Food -
B - 1 slice dijourno pizza (was running late late late, bad excuse though.)
L - Pork carnitas in a wrap, guac and sour cream
D - Undecided, but possibly sausage or chicken and veg.

Sion - So glad you are back - was just getting ready to launch a search message for you.

Have you been checked for diabetes recently?   Extreme thirst and poor sleep are two symptoms.  That's not to say thirst and poor sleep always mean diabetes, far from it, but just a couple of red flags that suggest you might want to have some blood work done.

I just got orders from my surgeon for bloodwork, so I'm sure that may be one of the pannels they'll be checking.

I'm here, I promise, I do read the boards when I get the chance, but its been a tough week with little time to access.
