My 411 this week!!
I am doing very good so far. If I overeat I am eating the good stuff. I have exercise 3 days so far also. My goal for March was to lose 8 pounds and I have accomplished that already. Goal is 1 to 2 pounds each week since my honeymoon period has been over. But as large as I still am, if I follow WLS diet structure I should do more than that but I do not want to set unreasonable goals for myself. I just hope I can keep up the zeal I have now to get back on track.
Congratulations Molly!!! Keep up the good work! We're all still learning. I feel as if I've started all over again! My goal is 1-2 lbs as well. One thing I have found out is that if we eat out, even though I do well, and choose the right foods, I have found i have a gain the next day. It's got to be all the salt in the stuff. I ate blackened fish last night when we ate out and I had a gain this morning. Following the WLS structure is definitely the way to go. I have also found that beef jerky is not part of the WLS structure! As I said I feel as if I have started all over again so I'm still learning again! I need to start an exercise program. I want to join a gym that has a pool because my knees are getting bad. Of course I'm a nurse and on my feet all the time so my knees take a beating! Guess I'll do some research on what's around here. Keep up that zeal and we'll keep each other on track!
