Friday Cardio/Cafe
Happy Friday!
What a week, it really went fast! I got my final application of eyebrows yesterday. I can't get over how they make me feel. Not only do they look good, they have helped me amp up my workout. I'm up to 90 minutes of cardio and I don't have to worry about sweating my eyebrows off any more! No more running back and forth to the lockers to check my brows!
I plan on getting to the gym later this afternoon, I'm thinking about checking into getting a trainer. I need some help with my strenght training. My food:
Breakfast - protein drink
Snack - fage
Lunch - protein drink
Snack - protein drink
Dinner - stuffed red pepper w/ricotta bake
Snack - fage
Bedtime - protein drink

Good morning Deb and fellow BOTT'ers!
Glad to hear that things went well with your final application of eyebrows. I've been using a personal trainer for the last 2 weeks. I'm glad that I have signed up for a gym membership. I like knowing that I am doing the workouts correctly and there's always a change in my workout. It's never dull or boring but yet it is challenging. I go to Body Empowered Fitness in Buffalo Grove.
Ah, yes the weekend is almost here. YAY!!
Tomorrow is weigh****chers day so we'll see how my week went. I was BOT all week long and was compliant with my workouts.
Today's plan -
B - cottage cheese with sliced radishes.
L - tuna fish packed in water with mixed green salad
D - tilapia filet with california blend vegetable
S - Lite & Fit Dannon Yogurt, small orange
Of course, vitamins and water for the day! Did my cardio workout this morning, 30 minutes on the elliptical. Tomorrow is my day of rest.

Yes, it IS Friday ! ! I have been waiting all week for this, my house is a disaster and I have to get it cleaned! I am having a baby shower Wednesday night at my house for one of the girls that worked in the same office as me (back when I was in an office, don't have to worry about that anymore, nobody in my house will be having babies.....LOL) I haven't given a shower in ages, good thing another friend is helping.
Today I go back to the PS for my 6 week checkup ! Can't believe it has been that long. My infections are almost all gone and I have one little part of my tummy muscle that still likes to give me sharp pain when I roll over in bed. I have to take Tylenol before I go to bed every night but that wears off by the middle of the night ! I'm sure I'll be feeling great by golf season, oh, wait, people have started golfing already in Michigan ! OK, so I'll be ready by time the leagues start in May *sigh*.
Todays plan:
B - Boiled eggs (2)
S - Protein Drink
L - Protein drink
S - Almonds
D - Going to meet friends for supper, I'm sure there will be something good for me to eat.
Cardio - walking 30 minutes
Today I go back to the PS for my 6 week checkup ! Can't believe it has been that long. My infections are almost all gone and I have one little part of my tummy muscle that still likes to give me sharp pain when I roll over in bed. I have to take Tylenol before I go to bed every night but that wears off by the middle of the night ! I'm sure I'll be feeling great by golf season, oh, wait, people have started golfing already in Michigan ! OK, so I'll be ready by time the leagues start in May *sigh*.

HAPPY FRIDAY, HAPPY FRIDAY, YEAH RAH IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!
Sally, golfing in Michigan - what are they using, snow balls? I'm afraid to say this out loud, but I think Spring is springing here in north FL. Our crab apple trees are blooming and the wind doesn't cut right through one. The Gulf is magnificent. All is well with my world!!!!
I thught I had found the magic wand. I haave always been able to hold a great deal of food. So, when I got off track - I GOT OFF TRACK. Well, after my surgery I simply could not hold all the food I needed to get my calories in. Had I died and gone to Heaven and didn't even know it????? Well, reality is beginning to set in - no magic wand, just some internal swelling and now the swelling is beginning to go down and my old capacity is beginning to come back. I'm still holding out hope that it won't come back completely and now I know I can add more saline at one time at my next fill so I feel good about that. I'm just 11 days out of my "middle" surgery. So I'm sure I still have inches to lose and my skin is already much much tighter. So I am very very pleased.
EXERCISE:
I have walked a lot more today. Don't think I'm quite ready to begin climing stairs agin just yet.
