OK, OK, I am trying really hard here to get in shape before my trip next month.  I just read one of the Aunts to my son's GF will be coming.  No problem she seems really nice!  The issue is she just posted she got a brand new VIDEO camera for the trip.

k,k,k,k,k, I know they say professional camera like on TV make you look 10 pounds heavier but what about regular video cameras?     I wonder if you can buy lenses that make you look tall and thin like in the carnival.    Yeah right, that is what I thought

sigh.......

I would not worry about it Kathy! lol!  I do not know of any camera that makes any one look tall and thin.   Even the tiny and thinnest person looks bigger!!  Enjoy your trip and the moment!!!

Hey Kathy

as has already been said - people will be looking at your beautiful smile, not judging your size, but anyway, that said, the good thing about cameras and videos is:

AIRBRUSHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You can be a slim as you like

Kathy  Kathy   Kathy - what in blazes are you doing to yourself?????????  What the devil would you tell us if we had posted what you just did?  Are you going to impress, to be with your son on this monumental occassion, to have fun?  For the second two - you need have no fears - the only thing that could possibly muck those two up is your not allowing yourself to be yourself.  As to the first thing, why not impress them all (including yoursellf) with how little you need to impress anyone.

Know that your BOTT family loves and treasures you and I'm sure your son does to - so who does that leave MMMMMM   How about loving and treasuring yourself, dear heart?

I posted that with a smile my good friend.  If I was so concerned with what I was going to look like on a camera and photos I would not be going    I just thought it was so funny, one works hard to lose 10 pounds and then the camera puts them back on.

Don't worry, I am going to have a blast.  They are talking about going to the ruins, image seeing something you have only heard about in the movies..WOW

What a relief to know you were laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I can't imagine how excited I would be with that trip.  A chance of a lifetime to be sure.

I understand about being cheated out of a ten-pound loss.  Good grief, I felt cheated because my waist wasn't 2 inchs (or at least one inch smaller) immediately after my surgery in spite of knowing that I had fluid to absorb and the elastic binder I have to wear for 3 more weeks adds at least in inch.  Like I say, "Making sense isn't the minimum daily requirement for being a human being"  (Truthfully, if it were there wouldn't be any human beings on this earth!!!!!)

So, now go forth and thoroughly enjoy yourself - and I will quit being a "mother hen"  (or at least cut back on mother hen Hours)  LOL
