Tuesday 911 - BOTT

Hi BOTTers,

This is more of a 411 rather than a 911.  For me, checking in with all of you has become a 911 for my day.

I think I'm going to move to Thailand!!  LOL.

I watched Jessica Simpson's new show "Price of Beauty" last night.  From her reality t.v. show with her ex-husband, she was such an airhead.  I hadn't planned on watching it until I saw an interview with her.  From the interview, I was impressed with her and the purpose of the show. 

The show is about what defines beauty in other cultures.  Last night, she went to Thailand to learn what it means to them to be beautiful.  They insert blurbs with her giving her insights.  She is a much, much deeper insightful person than given credit for in the past.

In Thailand, what is beautiful is fair skin (me!).  If a woman is tan, it isn't an attractive thing.  They also focus on the insides of a person. A person's inside is more important.  Beauty comes from the inside which is what I strongly believe as well.  So, there you have it - my reasons to move to Thailand.  LOL!!    In Thailand they eat a lot of bugs so that is a definite no go for me. 

Anyway, so far I like the show.  It will be interesting to see how other cultures define beauty.

The 411 for me today is that my BMI is no longer in the obese category!  I'm so psyched by that.
