Back On Track Together
Still Struggling
I have been away for awhile. Last time I lost any weight was December. I have gained over 10# but lost those again, so basically I have been in maintain mode. My one year anniversary is coming up. Any ideas on how to celebrate or anythin? I thought I would be a lot further than I am, but 125# gone is big right?. I haven't been doing well all along so I guess it's to be expected. I have improved in getting the supplements in! My 1 yr labs were normal for the first time.

Hi Jimi,
Congratulations on your one year re-birthday and the 125 pounds you've lost. That is a lot to celebrate.
Rather than focus so much on what you haven't done (lost any weight since December and wishing you weren't further ahead), focus on the many successes you have accomplished. Just in your short post you listed quite a few - you lost the 10 pounds you gained (awesome!!), you are maintaining, lost 125 pounds, you've improved on your supplements and your labs are normal for the first time. Those are great successes.
As far as celebrating, maybe so a fun activity such as go for a walk with family or friends, go to a movie, shop for a new outfit or clothes, etc. On my one-year rebirthday, we went for a hike as I wanted it to be something I hadn't been able to do. I wanted to commemorate my special day in a different way.
Congratulations!!

Jimi,
125 pounds in one year is nothing to sneeze at and congrats on losing the 10 pounds gained. I say you have a lot to be thankful for and to celebrate honey. You may not be where you thought or wished to be but you have came a long way for sure. And you should pat your self on the back for those accomplishments. Keep up the good work!!!! and congratulations again!!
