Back On Track Together
BOTT Cardio and Cafe-Tuesday
Good Morning Everyone!
Hope you all had a GREAT day yesterday. Mine was over before I realized it even began! Work was soooo jamb packed that I did not come up for air until it was almost over.
Today I expect more of the same. With all the downsizing, those of us still there are having to work harder to keep up. The upside is that I am fortunate enough to have a job and my days are NOT boring.
I am still struggling with the snacks at night. So today that will be the area I need to mindfully work on gaining control.
My food plan for today:
1. Protein/Click/Soy/PB2 shake
2. EAS protein drink
3. Eggplant Parm
4. EAS protein drink
5. Protein shake w/frozen fruit and soy
6. Fiber crackers/cheese
I am hoping putting something crunchy as my last mini meal will satisfy me so I will not look for another snack. I will finish my day with hot tea if I feel a need for something else.
Wishing you all a BOTT Tuesday!
Hang in there Goody, hopefully things will start to smooth out at work. I've been doing pretty good, had a slight slip up yesterday with a big spoonful of peanut butter and nutella. What are ya gonna do, I just moved past it. I'll be working out later is a.m. My food plan:
Breakfast - fage
Snack- protein drink
Lunch - protein drink
Snack - click
Dinner - not sure, going out with friends, will look up restaurant's menu for ideas.
I hope that everyone has a great day!
Deb
Deb,
I went online and reviewed the Whey Low that you suggested. The website stated it has had no know side effects for Lactose intolerant consumers. It also gave a list of retailers. Mine was just a block from work, so I went and purchased both the granular and golden "brown sugar" . It was a little costly so I will use it with care. I have not made "anything" with it yet, but did taste and it does not have an aftertaste and does taste just like sugar.
Thanks for the heads up.

Well, I'm feeling good and content, as the weather has held for another day. I will not be hopping on the scale until Friday, so until then, I'm just trying to keep on track and drink my water so I can keep flushing the system. That's one of my toughest challenges, but I find I do much better when I set my alarm every 15 minutes to remind me. I'll be doing this today.

Had a really good day yesterday... not crazy cravings or mind games about going off track and pushed my cardio intervals up a notch since that's what my metabolism needs! Knitting at night is really keeping me from thoughts of snacking - as is my Good Earth Orignial tea if needed (umuuummmm hot, spicy cinnamon!!!)
Today's plan:
Cardio - 30 min w/ 30 sec high intensity intervals every couple min.
Strength & Stretch - 30 min in of upper/lower body resistance/wt
B- Soy PB/wasa and hb egg
S- EAS protien drink
L-Chicken and salad
S- EAS protein drink
D- My Veggie Soup (protein drink if needed)
Hot spicy tea if wanted.
Have a great day all!

I've been missing in action but not in BOTT! LOL.
It's been so busy at work and home.
Good news! I've started my workout training at Body Empowered Fitness with a personal trainer. I am sure kicking some arse. My workouts are 3 times a week with the trainer and then I come in on the 3 other days and use their elliptical. I have one at home but love theirs. It's sturdy and smooth riding.
Last week I had some harder days and started with grazing again but went to weigh****chers on Saturday, took my gain and moved on. Before BOTT, I would have stayed home, gained more, etc.. I am hyped up and raring to go. I do feel a lot better and stronger with my workouts.
I promised myself to give it my all and see how it goes for 6 months. As long as I am losing, I am fine. But, if it doesn't move I am contemplating a revision to a DS. Time will tell.
Most importantly is to learn how to maintain. That is something I just didn't get the hang of.
Oops, missed the meal plan:
B - 1 jumbo hard boiled egg
1/2 cup cottage cheese
3 radishes
L - Boca burger
Mixed green salad
2 slices avocado
D - not sure yet!
S - Dannon Lite & Fit Yogurt - Cherry
Vitamins and water for the day.
Well, wishing everyone here a grand day on BOTT.
