10#  Same here...wonderful trip....I plan on taking it off no matter if it takes all summer

Usual eating habits...

2 16.9 bottles of water with crystal light focus (has caffiene)
2 light Mozz stix and 1 -140 calorie serving of pretzels  18 gms protein
16.9 bottle water either plain or crystal light
1.5 oz tuna  2T light miracle whip and 6 LF crackers , 2T peanut butter  26 gms protein
16.9 bottle of water either plain or with crystal light
170 cal protein bar low sugar Detour  15 gms protein
water again
150 cal adkins protein shake 15 gms of protein
zero carb isopure protein shake  to make up my protein gms for the day 25 gms - 40 gms protein

Occasionally I mix it up with a 21g pkt of jerkey, or hard boiled egg instead of PB, or I will eat dinner instead of protein shake which usually contains enough lean protein to make up protein.....  See why I am getting impatient.....Suggestions?

Tammie - can't be sure from your post but appears you are way low on calories.  Check with your surgeon for what his/her guidelines are.  - my dr says minimum of 60g protein and 60 oz water (or Crystal Lite)  no caffeine.  It is so important to follow your surgeon's specific guidelines as drs vary a bit and if you are following your dr's/nutritionist"s  then they will best be able to see where you need to change.

I use LiveStrong.com/user/dailyplate then myplate to plan my food (at least 1 day ahead - better if 2 or 3 days) know what calories I need to consume to accomplish my goal (one of the features of mydailyplate) monitor my nutrients.  The better you plan, the better results you will have.

Probably, right now, the scales are not your friend.  If you want to go a period of time without weighing (and that's something you struggle with) an effective deterrant is to put your scales in the trunk of your car.  No self-respecting formerly fat person is going to weight with their clothes on and few of us will "streak" out to the car without clothes just to weigh LOL

Remember - as we think, so shall we eat

I wish you well

how funny your idea for the scale...I would be sending my children out to get it...hehe  Thanks for your insight...I kinda felt that I need to get in more calories...but just no room!  I will have to find some sources of protein that can help with that.

Best of luck to you too and enjoy YOUR trip of a lifetime...

Tammie - it looks as though you might be drinking way more than 60 oz of water.  You might want to consider backing off a bit and filling that space in your pouch with nutritious food.

Again, please check with your surgeon/nutritionist for their evaluation of your needs.
