Back On Track Together
BOTT 911 - Tuesday
HI BOTTers,
My challenge for today is to get back to exercising from being sick. I am going to take it easy and do 30 minutes on Wii Fit Step Advanced rather than my pre-sick time of 1 hour. I'm also going to take the riser off the balance board so it is an easier workout. The point is that I am getting back to it although not like I was before I got sick.
I know, I know, if this were a BOTT member I would say that you're building up and this is the healthy way to protect yourself from a relapse (NO!!) but yet get back on track with my activity. So, I'm telling myself what I would tell any BOTT member.
What's your 911 for today?
BOTT POWER,
Cathy

Want to get back on track or stay on track? Get Back On Track Together!
Good morning! I joined about two months ago but haven't gotten it together, yet. This Saturday I made a commitment to devote as much time to BOTT as I do to facebook. Hopefully, that will help me get motivated! I had my surgery in 2001 (RNY) and have gained all my weight back, plus more...
So far it is baby steps for me. Any improvement is counted. BOTT, instead of facebook. Stairs instead of elevator. Etc, etc.
Glad you are feeling better, Cathy. Your determination to get back to exercising is motivating. Maybe I'll take a walk during my lunch hour!

Cathy, we are all in the same boat per say. When you tell us something you are also telling yourself-- fellow botter and leader..LOL
You can do it take it slow and easy slow is always better than no when your able to do something.
Give your self a hand for listening and practicing what you preach

My 911 for the day is pretty much the same as it has been for weeks now. Today I am decarbing and life stress and a really horrible fibromyalgia flare is taking a toll on me with crazy emotions and the pain in my neck and left arm and shoulder. I cannot see a rheumatologist until 3/15 and the meds I have are not cutting it. My husband has been unemployed for a year and a half and benefits are up, so I will be facing the "what do we do now?" My job is stressful and I do not know where to find relief and I am out of sick leave. I cannot exercise much due to the fatigue and pain, although I am doing walking each day. So, I know I cannot control everything ,but only my reactions to it and I am trying to get on track and stay on track.
I've lost 130 total pounds including before surgery supervised diet and since surgery loss. I still have 50 pounds to go and I am not ready to give up. I know the basics and I am giving it my best.
Thanks for listening.
