Welcome Paula,

You have come to the right place.  The members of  BOTT will help you get out of the "dumps".  This is a WONDERFUL group of caring, loving and supportive people.  No one will have to "track you down" you will find that you want to keep coming back.

I look forward to getting to know you.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome.  I really do need some support from people that know what it's like to be a few years out.  I've done really well keeping my weight off and exercising up until just recently.  Having pity parties with cookie dough is no way to conquer PMS or shoulder pain:)

See you tomorrow,
Paula

I'm afraid I'm more than just a few years out - I'm 77 and sure do understand.  The trouble with pity parties is that we so often serve refreshments.  Glad you've decided to shut down the party

Kellie, I was just wondering yesterday where you were.  You were missed!  Glad to hear you are doing much better.

Heddo all,

So Avatar was indeed pretty amazing. The cinematography was really something, even though the storyline was pretty predictable. I enjoyed my biscuit. I ate far too much cinema popcorn, though. I'm feeling the pudge and water retention, not only that but darnit... I'm sick of maintaining this hefty weight. Its time for some drastic measures. The textbook definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Well, its time for a nice drastic change. I'm implementing protein shakes again, since I happen to have a huge new unopened canister of designer whey in my cupboard. Its also gorgeous out so I'm planning a walk outside.

Cardio - Laps outside

Food -
B - 6 oz water, 1 scoop designer whey
S - Apple
L - 6 oz 1% milk, 1 scoop designer whey
S - Salad, light balsamic dressing
D - Baked chicken and veggies.

Water loading and lots of coffee to wash out the system

Your Plan sounds fantastic. Your exercise whether planned or unplanned is great. You don't have to always plan the idea is to keep moving  and using the stairs more often is definitely a good cardiac work out.

Have a good BOTT Day

Thank you Melva.  I guess I just needed to be reassured that structured exercise is not the only exercise.  I really hate doing the "exercise thing" .  I like to move, but I want it to be productive moving.  I love the yard work, mowing, raking, trimming, etc, so when spring gets here I will be outside "exercising".

I'm just not a structured type person.  Go figure, me not structured, married to Mr. OCD and living with cats, for over 30 years.  They are the most structured beings I know.  I guess I really do attract the polar opposite of myself!
