Back On Track Together
Suggestions Please for staying B-O-T-T-E-D
I did a lot of traveling the first few years post op - including a 10-day hotel stay for a conference that I was the on-site contact for.
I ALWAYS travel with protein powder pre-measured into baggies (makes life easy) and my little battery operated whisker ...
I ALWAYS TRY to hit a grocery store (preferably a Trader Joes cos they have great cheese varieties) for cheese, deli meats, saltine crackers, yogurt, fruit, and s/f puddings if I'll be more than a few days.
Conference meals are usually not too challenging as long as you stick to the airline chicken and vegetables (lol!) - but those continental breakfasts are disasters unless you stick to the fruit!
Good luck!
