Friday's Cafe and Cardio

.It's Friday!  It's Friday!  I am so grateful for Fridays!  

Good Morning Everyone!  

This week has been so very much better for me then recent weeks past.  I am now "gas free" for the most part and I have managed to get through the whole week without a migraine.  I have also managed to shed 2 lbs.  YEAH for me!  

I have all of you to THANK.  I sincerely appreciate all the love, encouragement, suggestions and warm support everyone here contributes.  You all are GREATLY appreciated.   THANK YOU.
       

Food for today is up in the air.  But I will make sure it is BOTT friendly.  I have the unfortunate task of making sure all terminated employees have turned in keys, etc. as they process out today.  It will be an emotional day, but I know I can handle it.

Cardio will be climbing up and down the stairs helping these same employees with their belongings.  I know the stairs will be used several times today.

Good morning Goody and fellow BOTT'ers!

Congrats Goody on the weight loss!  Today sounds like a challenging day for you but you will get through it. At least, you found something positive about it; lots of activity!

I'm with you. I appreciate the support, encouragement and suggestions here. Everyone has been so nice and friendly and not judgmental. I do that to myself often.

Today is the day before my weigh in at weigh****chers. I'm hoping for a small loss.

Today's food plan:

B - Isopure Peanut Butter Cookie Protein Drink - yummy!

L - Tuna fish packed in sunflower oil. Mixed green salad with balsamic vinegar.

D - Fresh shrimps with California Blend vegetables.

S - Lite & Fit Dannon Yogurt.

Vitamins and at least 6 glasses of water.

Exercise - Did 10 minutes on the elliptical this morning and after work will do another 5 minutes, totaling 15 minutes.

Starting Sunday, I will up my elliptical to 20 minutes a day 6 days a week. Yikes!! But I am doing it. It will be a challenge.

Good morning Goody and Botters,
It's good to hear about you weight loss and that you're feeling better.  I hope that the day ends well for you, I was in HR for many years and had many a day ending with such a heavy heart.  Hang in there.
I had such a great workout yesterday. exercise2.gif What a good feeling to just sweat through a workout without worry.  I'll be hitting the gym later this afternoon.  My food plan for today:
Breakfast - fage w/kashi
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - protein drink
Snack - protein drink
Dinner - ricotta bake w/salad
Snack - fage w/s.f. kaluah
I hope that everyone has a great day!

Well here it is - the most wonderful day of the work week - FRIDAY

Goody, How lucky those employees are to have someone they know cares as they have to leave.  Maybe it will ease your load a little bit to know you are making an unhappy situation the best it can be.

Had a blow yesterday, a patient filed a complaint on me - first I've had in 30 yrs - of course, it was anonymous, but his points sounded a bit absurd to me - however, it is exactly as he saw it and I need to do what I can to not repeat those behaviors.  I'm happy to say I did not get bogged down in my usual "I'm not good enough" - at least not for long and not deep - didn't even feel the slightest need to eat and that's GIANT PROGRESS

The scales were up this morning - but I know exactly why - a matter of elimination NOT consumption (thank goodness for writing down and following my food plan - i KNOW it's not consumption!)  My blood work shows my iron now at a very good level so I no longer need to take iron and that should help my elimination some.  (TMI I'm sure - especially when talking about food first thing in the morning LOL)

EXERCISE: 
Lots of stairs and some walking

      Unjury vanilla protein - 100 cal

Happy, you can not please all your patients all of the time.  If you have only had one complaint in more than 30 years, that is reason to celebrate.   

I probably get complaints from someone at least every 30 seconds!     ( Sometimes I just want to lay down and laugh myself into oblivion!)  I love this little creature.

Good Morning BOTT ! ! !   TGIF for sure !  Counting down the days until I am back in Florida for spring break !  Leave in 6, there in 8 days ! ! Woo Hoo  

When I get back from vacation I think I am going to do the 3 day liquid part again to be sure I am on track, I will eat safely on vacation but I'm sure there will be slippage !  I also know I will get to do lots of walking, it is so much fun to walk OUTSIDE, no white stuff on the ground !

OK, todays plan:

B - Yogurt
S - Protein Drink
L - Portein Drink + Applesauce
S - Almonds
D - Chicken & Veggies (I'm on my own tonight so this could change)
S - Sugar Free Pudding with protein added
