Wednesday Cafe & Cardio
Good morning BOTTers!
Today's the big day, I get my permanent eyebrows! I felt like a kid yesterday. As I was putting on my make-up, I said to myself, "this is the last I'm drawing on these eyebrows". No cardio for me today. My food plan:
Breakfast - 1/2 c. steel cut oatmeal
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - ham
Snack - veggies w/fage dip
Dinner - chicken w/veggies
Snack - fage w/s.f. caramel

Good Morning Everyone!
Deb, I am excited for you and your new eyebrows.
Today is a new day and I have decided to implement the positive affirmations that Happy had posted yesterday. It is high time for me to stop the "Negative Nellie" attitude and stomp out the "Stinking Thinking" going on in my head.
I have a business meeting in Durham today, so I am up and ready to travel. I just hope that the winter weather that is predicted decides to wait until I return to Fayetteville before it shows up. I dread the ride through the Raleigh area during morning rush hour, but welcome the chance to work outside of the office for at least most of the day.
I thought if I got a chance I would sneak a trip into the World Market before I returned home this afternoon. I love just exploring in that store, even if I don't buy a thing.
There will be no structured cardio today. And my food plan is not very clear since I will have meals provided. I am determined to be BOTT compliant and will have a great opportunity to get in all my water.

Well, BOTTers I think I have this crazy weather figured out. We are all a victim of Groundhog Revenge. Some of us dared doubt the granddaddy of all groundhogs - that one in PA that I can't even come close to spelling his town. He told us there was going to be 6 more weeks of winter. But, no, some of us chose to believe that johnny-come-lately groundhog in Atlanta, Gen. Beauregard, who said we'd have an early spring. So much, for the Gen. who has turned out to be a wretched prognosticator. Let's be sure we NEVER make that mistake again and bring down the wrath of P. Phil on our heads!!! I hope we've learned our lesson.
OK, now that I have the essentials out of the way, here's my C & C post. Happily, today was a down day on the scales - more down that yesterday's up. So, I am now barely into my over-goal cushion zone. I'm getting there!!!!!
EXERCISE:
Stairs, stairs, stairs and more stairs with a little walking. Trying to pump that fluid out of my thighs and build thigh muscle.

I, too am weary of the wintery weather and so look forward to spring and summer. It seems so long this year.

L - soy meatballs with mixed green salad and balsamic vinegar.
D - veggie chili with boca crumbles.
S - Lite & Fit Dannon Yogurt.
Vitamins and water as well.
Exercise - 15 minutes for today on the ellipitcal. Did 10 minutes this morning and will finish the remaining 5 after work.
YAY - Wednesday is here; only 2 more days until the weekend.

Morning all,
My dinner went great yesterday, and no one realized my meatballs were turkey instead of beef. It was a good time and they were very impressed with our progress.
I didn't get out of the hosue on time to hit the gym this morning, but instead I did get on my Wii Fit for the first time in a while. At least it was something.

B - Egg and cheese on wheat toast
S - Baby carrots
L - 5 oz left over spaghetti and turkey meatball
S - Chicken and lentil soup
D - Left overs

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day, only two more work days this week! Life is pretty quiet around my house this week. That's okay, I will happily take quiet and boring over drama every day of the week. Deb, I hope all goes well with your eyebrows and that you love the results.
Cardio: My back is slowly feeling better, so I may try some slow walking on the treadmill
Food:
B-Whole wheat english muffin w/Egg Beaters, turkey bacon & cheese
S-Turkey & cheese roll ups
L-Turkey & cheese on wheat sandwich thin, cottage cheese
S-Atkins bar
D-Stir fry teriyaki beef (rice for family, whole wheat pasta with mine)
1342 Calories, 137 Carbs, 38 Fiber, 40 Fat, 122 Protein
Carbs were a little high today, but lots of fiber. I will have to transfer the balance back between the carbs and protein tomorrow. Wishing everyone a great day and stay warm!

I started out the day at the gym, got home and after getting ready, headed to the car dealer to get recall work done on my husband's car. I was amazed at how easy and quick it was -- hats off to them! :) Lunch, groceries, then came home to work on taxes for my daughter and her roommate -- then begin organizing ours for the CPA. It's the time of the year again!
Exercise: Circuit training -- 694 cals burned

L: Soup and 1/2 mixed cheese quesadilla
S: Protein shake
D: Blackberries and Greek yogurt
S: Protein pudding pie
