Protein Shake--Help Needed
I have tried them all and yes the best way to tell if they are a good quality is to mix it with water. If it takes good this way it will rock using sf syrups and in smoothies.
The one I find ROCKS and is creamy and goes down smooth is Syntha-6
They have a lower cal one called dessert...
Try it you might like it!
Take care,
Kathy

Hi! (new to this board) Protien wise I like GNC brand- caramel choc or bananna. I add the caramel choc to my coffee In the morning and sprinkle the bananna into a LOT of my other foods. (Cream cheese, crystal light, etc.) I'm also trying nutritional yeast, since I've been having more trouble with meats then usual, and I'm eating a lot of soups. May replace it with an unflavored protien though, don't think it's helping me much.

I had my surgery in May of 2003 and between then and now I have tried soooo many protein products. Two suggestions....you can go to vitalady.com where you can buy samples. There are lots to choose from. The whey protein that is my tried and true is Lean Dessert....my favorite flavor is Chocolate Coconut candy bar....they have vanilla and others too. I have used the Lean Dessert for over 2 yrs now and do not dread drinking it. I have it for breakfast almost every day. Hope this helps!! Good luck!
