BOTT 911 - Monday
Hey Everyone
It snowed again What do I expect, it's almost March and that is normal.
I had a interesting week. It was so busy work wise I didn't get a chance to come here and post. Bad thing, then my weekend was up and down. I find I do well if I go to the gym and what surprises me is if I do my protein shakes I do well, if I try and eat clean (and I know how to do that) it ends up not being consistant enough to make a difference. So.........
I have decided to do nothing bu****er and my protein shakes. How long? Not sure, but need to clean the cravings out of my body for sure. The hardest will be not drinking tea. You may say tea is ok, but I have this sweet craving when it comes to my tea, I don't use sugar but I do use the splenda. Now, now I know it's suppose to be safe, but I use 2 scoops with a scooper (and if you drink tons of tea that adds up) and my blood work is showing issues with my liver. So I need to get off this stuff to.
With this plan I am sure I will be coming here often to say HELP!

Yes there are good general guidelines, but I think we all find that, eventually, we have to tweak them a bit to meet our body's needs. The challenge is to tweak not to use that as a reason to go wild when it is only an excuse at that point.
I am still going up and down and up and down when eating the same. Saturday decided to lop off 50 calories/day and see what happened. Sunday I "forgot" to weigh (that usually means something is going on in my head) but today I was down significantly. I'm pretty sure the main problem is that my thighs are still holding fluid. But I'm satisfied with 1400-1450 calories so will stick with that for now. I consider that a "tweak"
I think we are all more than ready for SPRING!!!!! I also think we will all do better when we have a little sunshine to boost our spirits. It's not so easy to hang out in loose clothes in the spring when there are such pretty things to wear. Clothes are a big motivator for me!!!!

Just wanted to wish you Good Luck on getting off the sweetners. Every time I grab for my packets, I think about how much I use every day. It would be so hard to break the habit for me, I use splenda in everything.
I make a pitcher of protein drinks every morning. I find it easier for me to just open the fridge and pour.
I'm happy to say that we didn't get the 10 inches that they predicted.

I am determined to have a better week this week then I had last week! (that was a mouth full).
Here I am already on BOTT 911. I just finished my "planned" lunch and I want more. More as in a whole 'nother lunch! But as HAPPYLAPBANDER has told us just because we want it does not mean we need it.
So I hope to distract myself until my next "planned" snack. I only have an hour and a half to wait. So I will chomp on my gum until then.
