BOTT is Working!

Being BOTT is really working for me.

In two weeks and a day, I lost 8 pounds!! YAY...

I feel so much better. Now I am on the elliptical for 15 minutes a day, 6 days a week. I am slowly adding minutes every week.

I saw my WLS surgeon last week and he was supportive and happy for me.

I want to thank everyone here for being so supportive and understanding.

I am getting back to goal and learn how to maintain. It's true what people say, that maintenance is much harder than losing the weight.

Have a great BOTT day everyone!

Hugs,
Lucy

Oh Lucy, I'm so happy right along with you   BOTT POWER is a real and wonderful thing isn't it?

Please keep positing every day - we need it for maintenance as much or more than we do for losing.  I find the Cardio & Cafe thread a great place to commit to compliance.

I'll be watching for you.  Thank you so much for allowing us to share your journey

Good morning happylapbander!

I am so committed to BOTT. I know that this is the only way I can succeed. It will take some time to get back to goal, but each day, week and month will get me closer to my goal again.

I am going to take the time to learn how to eat properly so not to gain consistently, and learn how to maintain - so that when I get there, I won't have so much difficulty as I did.

I have upped my exercise and it does give me a lot more energy.

My WLS doc told me that he would be happy with 4 pounds a month as I don't have the malabsorption as I did in the beginning.
Anything over 4 is a blessing!

I can feel the loss and see it in my midsection. The elliptical is a great workout!

Thanks for your message. I truly appreciate the support.

Hi Lucy,

Congratulations!  8 pounds is great.  I am happy that BOTT is working for you but actually you are using BOTT and making the lifestyle changes.  You GO!

Maintenance is harder than losing weight.  I'd never gotten to maintenance ever before to know that.

BOTT POWER to you!

Cathy

So good to hear it Lucy!

I KNOW you can do it!

I have been getting back to basics slowly, but surely.  I need to commit to coming here and posting.

Thanks for the inspiration (you have ALWAYS been one of my inspirations.......I still remember when you were at goal and lovin' those bikinis!!!!)

Tell someone that you love them!

Hi Dawn.

I still have my bikkinis and through this all - I've been wearing my XL ones. Go figure that one! I plan on wearing them this summer as I will be more buff since I am exercising too.

Thanks for writing me. It's been a long time.

Once I got off that slippery slope, it got harder and harder to get back on track. That is one thing I would tell newbies. Don't do it; you'll regret it in the end.

I know that you will get back on track as you haven't deviated that much. Wish you all the best. And, yes come here to visit. There is a lot of support here with no shame or judgement.

Hugs,
Lucy
