BABY IS ALMOST HERE...AND I WANT TO BE ON TRACK!

I HAVE 26 DAYS LEFT TILL I HAVE THIS WONDERFUL BABY GIRL...AND I JOINED THIS GROUP CAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE TO EAT THE WAY I EAT. YES I DO EAT HEALTHY AND I HAVE GAINED WEIGHT ( 17 LBS) WITH MY PREGNANCY. SHE IS QUITE HEALTHY ( BOTH OF US)
HERE IS MY PROBLEM... I WAS NOT FINISHED LOOSING MY WEIGHT WHEN I GOT PREGNANT  WITH THE BABY....I FEEL LIKE I HAVE FORGOTTEN ALLLL THAT I HAVE LEARNED IN THE PAST 8 MONTHS. I REMEMBER I AM SUPPOSE TO BE TAKING IN 70-95 G OF PROTEIN A DAY BUT I TOTALLY CAN EAT MORE. I KNOW SOME OF THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE HORMONES AND BABY. I STOPPED COUNTING THEM WHEN I DID FIND OUT ABOUT THE PREGNANCY. AND JUST ...EAT !
I THREW OUT ALL MY INFORMATION THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME AND FEEL LIKE I AM LOST. I DO PLAN ON DOING THE 5 DAY POUCH TEST ..MY CONCERN IS HAVE I STRETCHED OUT MY POUCH BEYOND HELP... I STILL HAVE 56 LBS TO GO TO REACH MY GOAL OR WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO WEIGH...IF I DON'T GAIN ANY MORE WEIGHT....(SMILE)

SOMETIMES WHEN I LOOK AT " PLANS" THEY INCLUDE "HEALTHY" CARBS....I THOUGHT WE WERE NOT SUPPOSE TO EAT CARBS...??????

Cajun  - We can't 'overdose" on carbs but our body (especially our brain) must have carbs to function well.

CONGRATULATIONS - first on soon to be the mother of a healthy baby girl and secondly for only gaining 17 pounds with your pregnancy.

The best advice I can share with you is to go the the top of our discussion page and read & print out the guidelines there.  Think it will give you all the info you will need.  It's helped so many of us get back/stay on track.
