Just wanted to check in early and report that the scales went down this morning.  About walked and climbed my legs off yesterday hoping for this downward direction   The way they've been jumping up and down lately who knows what tomorrow will bring.  Right now I'm not going to concern myself with what the scales may or may not say tomorrow - I'm just going to celebrate having another BOTT day yesterday and planning to have one today by giving myself a great big old calorie-free pat on the back.

thanks for listen to me yesterday and caring.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!  That's great news Happy.  And what a great way to view things - celebrate the victories and worry about the not so victories if /when they happen.

Enjoy your celebrations

For some reason when I have a pity party I think I should have refreshments but when I have a celebration party I'm delighted to stay compliant.     Go figure!!!!

Hi Happy,

I am so happy to hear about the scale movement this morning! Yipee! Who knows what is going on with all that. Take comfort in knowing you are doing all the right things and that you are so much more than the scale and what it does or doesn't say.

Here's to your amazing, inspirational BOTT POWER!

Cathy

Are you ever simply amazed at the power of BOTT POWER?  I sure am.   It is awesome & I know it is very very real!  It's always there - what changes is whether we will ask for it and/or use it when we need it.  Sometimes we humans can be so dense LOL

Thanks for caring - you are a very special lady!

I am still here and reading. I'm still working these crazy hours and I just can't seem to get into a routine of journaling my food. I'm watching what I'm eating, but I still keep making little mistakes but I'm trying not to kick myself too bad. Working these crazy hours really make it difficult to stay on track. That will change soon and hopefully I'll be able to get back on track on a daily basis. I just don't do well without routine.

The scales have moved back up to 204, so I haven't lost anything but I know it will come soon enough!

Thanks for being there!
Janie

Good for you Janie - you're not giving up.  I understand your need for journaling your food.  I know I couldn't  stay on track without planning my food, and writing down my plan at least one day ahead (I take my lunch so HAVE to know a day ahead so I can pack it) and I really do better if I plan 2 or 3 days ahead.  I may tweak it a bit when the day comes, but I stay within my calorie limit.

Be assured, those unwanted pounds WILL come off.
