Hope everyone is doing well this morning. Glad that you’re on OH and posting, we need each other.
I’ve got lots on my mind. Not bad things, actually, I think I’m pretty happy right now. I’m moving into a new house and I’m excited. I’ve got lots of work to do, but lots of help too. Crazy thing is that I think, and as crazy as this may seem, I’ve got some “fear" going on. This is not a good thing for me. Fear turns me into a crazy nut, and lately I’ve come to realize/accept that it causes me to miss-use my food.
I woke up early to spend some time with my higher power. I know that the key to my issue is turning it over to my HP, and not trying to control everything. (This is HUGE for me)
So….that being said, following is my master plan for TODAY:

B: Protein Shake
L: Ham & Cheese w/ Mustard & pork skins
S: Turkey, Cream Cheese & Egg Whites
D: Grilled Chicken Salad w/ Lite Italian Dressing

Lisa, you don't say what your fear is - but I wonder if, down deep, it isn't a fear that you aren't good enough for all the good things that are happening in your life right now? I may be way off base - just a thought. If that does happen to be it, please know YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH (your HP knows that)

EXERCISE: Walking a stair climbing - already begun. About walked & climbed my legs off yesterday and was rewarded with the scales heading down this morning. But the way they have been jumping around lately who knows what tomorrow will bring - right now can't worry about tomorrow - too busy celebrating today with a big pat on the back.

I was up early this morning also, but only because I got my fluids in like I should have yesterday so I had an early bathroom run! I'm getting better as the days go by...no more crying spells before work and I was actually able to walk into my office and by-pass the vending machine without stopping to ponder whether it was going to be Snickers or Twizzlers. My appetite hasn't been that great but I did eat my lunch and a portion of what I bought for dinner. My protein intake yesterday was low but I did get my all of vitamins and meds in.
Feeling like I'm able to finally move forward so here are my goals and plans for today:

& the treamill later today

Write in my Journal - it has really helped

Cardio - was given permission to start walking today but not sure I will get it in today. I will be walking a lot around the airport, gotta keep moving.
I don't know If I'll have time to check in all weekend, my meals will be unplanned but I usually can get safe foods, say eggs for breakfast, something ok for lunch and dinner. I am taking my applesauce and protein mix with me since I have to take meds 4 x a day and they need to be mixed into something.
I'm on day 1 of a new routine, now that I feel settled enough in my house that I got up early, got my morning routine done and went to the gym before work. This was after my first night with my CPAP machine on again. I slept fairly well, and while I�took it off at 4:30 or so, my husband thanked me for finally doing so because we both slept better for it. I guess my snoring was loud. So on top of all these changes, I also am still implementing a new healthier diet. I feel good, although I'm still looking for my motivation to kick in.�I'm doing it for the sake of doing it right now, not really doing it because I "just gotta want it"... I'm sure that'll come soon, once I start feeling better.
Cardio - 30 min on gazelle machine, stretching 10 min

B - 1/2 egg n cheese on wheat toast
S - Other half. carrots and celery
L - 3 oz chix breast with hoisin sauce, salad with honey balsamic dressing
S - Carrots and celery, possibly some chicken soup?

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we always WANTED to do what we NEEDED to do. Just doesn't work that way though. So monitor your thinking and you'll be back in the WANT TO groove before long.
You've got a lot of major changes going on in your life right now so be gentle - firm but gentle - with yourself. (Just like you'd tell me to do LOL)
