Back On Track Together
BOTT 911 - Wednesday
I'm up early, but could not get myself on the treadmill. Why???? Not sure, maybe just lazy. Hopefully I'll make time to get on this evening.
I think my hormones are "whacked" today because I don't want to do anything. I've got some "stinking thinking" going on too.

I haven't a clue what's going on - I'm eating my regular # of calories (1450-1500 which I think is the minimum I need to function well - regardless of my weight) and am even walking a little farther and climbing at least one flight of stairs a day now. Yet, my weight is jumping all over the place. The only thing I can think of is that I am still retaining some of the fluid pumped into my legs for the thigh surgery. He did say it could take 6-9 months for it to all absorb. Still don't understand why I was way down in weight at first and now that I'm exercising more it is going up?????
I can see how frustrating it must be for you. I know that when the scale and I aren't getting along it really plays tricks on my head.
Seeking support is a great way to get through this....
We can do it!

Thanks for asking Happy. Things are much better - well my mind attitude is anyway. I'm not in such a funk, so my eating isn't so nearly as bad, not too great either, but I'm able to work on it. I'm not sure what hit me, I just couldn't stop eating and i felt like I was drowning.
But thanks to all the support on BOTT (seriously) I was able to hang in there until it passed. I'm focussing on Lent and the challenge of giving up some weight for the lent period!
How are the legs looking? Are you pleased with them?

I love my new legs, Ruth. They are still in the healing process and probably will be for the next few months. But they are already a gazillion million times better than they were that I'm ecstatikc! I have my surgery for my middle (abdominal area) scheduled for March 8. I'm so anxious for that one too.
