Hey BOTTs,

Sorry I am late today.  Been so busy and shoveling snow.  Those on the east coast, hang on

I have been moaning I want to go sit on a beach and watch the waves.  Woke up this morning and mother nature granted my wish.  Check this out...

A snow wave..

So what is making you want to eat bad today?

Take care,
Kathy

Hi Kathy. I'm sick of seeing the white stuff too. Shoveling was great exercise but time for a break.

I'd like to be anywhere warm, Acapulco comes to mind. Sunny and high 80's.

Same frustration as yesterday but not eating my frustrations. Shoveling them. LOL.

I'm looking forward to the weekend and my weigh in at weigh****chers on Saturday.

Take care,
Lucy

No, I didn't feel anything. Just heard about it on the radio on the way to work this morning.

I think I was dead tired from all that shoveling.

I didn't feel it but my husband said it woke him up and his desk was shaking.  My kids are planning on moving to the San Fran area in the future and I was teasing them about earth quakes and now we get one...

Yesterday was hard for me. I had a very emotional day and normally would of turned to food and television. I instead ran errands and drank unsweet tea all day refusing to eat anything off my plan!  It felt so good to achieve that! I almost lost control in the evening but instead took a tylenol pm and went to bed early for a good night sleep.  I woke up and had lost another pound. I am thankful today for shopping to keep me occupied instead of eating.

I grew up in California and remember not even being worried about them by the time I was in my 20's I would lay in bed and judge if it was big enough to validate getting up in to a doorway. Then we moved to KY and they had tornados. The first year we bunkered down with emergency food and radios, by year 5 I would go out shopping and not think twice.. you can see a tornado coming so why worry?  I wonder if an earth quake would rattle me now.  Glad everyone is okay and not much damage.

I got new shipment of my protein crunch bars.  And they are good.  Now I remember why I do not order them more often.  They are just to good, and not that solid - so I can eat 2 of them at any time - and look for a third one.  Darn...
I am working on that.  They will stay at work - where my will power is better, and where I can put them and not see...
Beside that - nothing bad so far.  ( I had to have one of the bars earlier - before the lunch -.but I can fit it into my day plan... lol - just no more than that one)
Reason for it - I am still tired, very tired, and stressed... But - coffee and green tea - will work.

Love the wave, Kathy -- sure would have been nice if it had been one on the beach of some Caribbean island, though, wouldn't it?  Ah well....it's nice to have dreams!  :)

I have been so busy trying to get things done in the few hours I have been able to get out of the house, then shoveling and shoveling and shoveling, that I haven't really focused on my good eating habits.  Though I haven't been "bad," I haven't been focusing on getting protein in these last days and tracking like I know I need to do.  I am hoping we will be freed (in other words, they will finally plow our street!) so I can get back to some semblance of normal life and get back on track like I need to.  Keeping my fingers crossed.  :)
