I was in a size 12 wearing some 10's. I was down 127lbs and I was thinner and more active then I had ever been. I got sick and stopped going to the gym for 3 weeks  because I was sick, then it just became life that kept me from the gym.  We moved to Alaska and I became house bound even further and before I knew it 40lbs had crept back on.  I was buying new clothes to fit because I looked so bad in my tight clothing. Then I really committed to BOTT last week. I have lost 5 lbs going back to basics. All that is missing is the gym which will have the grand opening on Monday the 15th. I am committed to getting the rest of the 35 lbs off.  A size 12 is goal for me. For my height and frame it is where I should be.  I am wearing a size 16 right now and refuse to be okay with that. Thank you to BOTT support!! I now know that I can work this tool, it still works, it is not broken.  I was broken but I am fixing that. Thanks to all the support here. So nice to have a non judgement place to go.

We want to see a picture of the new gym and be sure and come here and log your workouts on the Cafe and Cardio thread.  You can help others getting back track with their workouts!

When you go back, don't let the realization of how much you have lost make you quit.  I use to do squats with heavy weights and when I got back to the gym did about 30 without weights and couldn't walk for 2 weeks    I have found though, once you were in shape it comes back fast.  YOU GO GIRL

We are so proud of you.

I am in the same place right now.  I was in a size 12 and even some size 10.  Now I have gained back some weight and am in a 16.  I am not okay with it either.  That is why I came on here looking for something to help me get back on track.  I am getting so upset about the weight I gained back after everything I went through to lose the weight.  I joined a support group and am supposed to go to the first meeting tomorrow night and now with the blizzard in NJ it doesn't look like it will be taking place.  I can't wait another month for help.  Can anyone tell me how they got back on track?  It is a battle that I am fighting every day and losing.  :(

First thing I did was plan my lunches dinners and snacks for the week, made an eating schedule,

Coffee and Supplements 8:30
Breakfast 9:30 2 egg scramble.. add cheese veggies salsa or turkey bacon if I want (300/350 cal)
10 am 16 oz water over ice. Drink water and then I eat the ice later when its all crunchy
11:00 Snack fruit, cheese, deli meat, yogurt about 100 calories
1:30 Lunch some kind of salad, using spinach for the iron (300/350 cal)
2:00 water again
3:30 Snack pudding jello pop corn just a 100 calories
5:30/6:00 Dinner (300/400 cal)
8:00 snack and night supplements 100 cal

My goal is 1200 to 1400 calories a day. If I work out I allow 50 more calories per day time snack.

I also use a small casserole dish to keep my serving sizes down. Some times I dont count calories I just look at the meat serving size and use good veggies and keep out the rice pasta and potatoes.

I get hot herbal tea after snack and until I go to bed. I also try to eat the same thing breakfast and lunch to take out the fuss over food.

I feel your pain.  I was down 118 lbs and working out 5 to 7 days a week.  I was in a solid size 6 and even some 4s.  Then I had a two fold crash and burn.  I started doing happy hour a couple times a month and was drinking beer (carbonation) I think that stretched my tummy.  Then I started having back problems and stopped exercising for a few weeks.  Next thing I know I am up 10 pounds!  Started freak'n out and now I am up 20 pounds!!!  Flash backs of my pre gastric days in mind.  I am obessing over food again and stressing over the weight which makes me eat :-(  Thinking of starving myself... this is all to familiar.  I know if I do the fad dieing I did for 20 years it is just going to get worst.  I have to go back to basics without dieting.  Eating healthy, exercising and being happy and no STRESS!!!

I have started using the eliptical twice a day 20 minutes morning and evening... has not helped yet but I know it will help get me back on track.

Hang in there... I know we can do it.  Very proud of your 5 pounds :-)

Same story here ladies....was size six now 12...but I am not having it anymore....I began by getting a physical and labs...LOW iron and the threat of infusions......then journaling to see what I was eating and saw that on any given day I was only taking in about 35-40 gms of protein...that won't do...so just by trying to get in the 100 gms of protein and water I just don't have room for much else...lost 6# the first week then with the combination of SuperBowl and my cycle I was back up a pound.....I held my course and it's gone again and I know if I keep on track more will go!  But I find returning to OH and joining BOTT I am further inspired.....I worked so hard...I am implementing something BOT each week this week it is excersize..so far all I have managed is swearing off elevators....for stairs but hope to get in a work out or two!

Thanks for being here fellow BOTTer's

Have a Great Day!
