BOTT Cardio and Café - Monday

Hey all!

Sorry for my absence, I've been without interwebs at home until yesterday and work has been busy. My house is comming along really nice, with my living room all completed with the exception of curtains. All my electronics, my DVD's. cable, etc... are all hooked up! It looks really nice and its so comfortable. We sat and watched the superbowl last night and just smiled and sighed... and my hubby even said "I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be right now"... I looked at him and said "Bora Bora?" and he thought about it and said "No, not for the work I've done. I'd rather be here than Bora Bora right now".

I've finally also gotten back on my Wii Fit. And even though I didn't get there today, I plan to start heading to the gym in the mornings. They just built a new PF the next town over, so it'll be much easier to get to and from before work. I also hear its very nice and new. I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning!

Cardio - Walk if it warms up a little

Food -
B - 1/2 egg and cheese on light wheat toast sammich
S - Other half
L - Salad, boild egg, grilled chix
S - Raw veggies
D - Unknown, maybe general tso chicken.

today is a BOTT day after straying from my food plan yesterday.  Each day I am able to walk a little further and am climbing one flight of stars a day at work.  Feels good when I do it even though I have to give myself a stern pep talk to get up and move.  Today will be a mostly liquid day to get myself back on track.

good morning! I am new to the BOTT group, just signed up on Friday. The weekend was good protein & food-wise, though not so great exercise wise.

I woke up and did the 2 mile walk on Leslie Sansome's walking dvd--Yippee! My goal is 100 + grams of protein today and 64 oz of water, and all my vitamins.
My meal plan is:

B--Bariatric Advantage Shake w/ 27 grams of protein, earl gray tea (2nd week of no coffee!)

L-turkey burger w/ 27 grams of protein, sliced tomatoes, water

Snack-protein bullet with 45 grams of protein

Dinner--TBD, probably baked chicken thigh and steamed spinach or another BA shake

Dessert-I have a mix that makes a choc. sugar free pudding that has 6 grams of protein.

Good luck to all the BOTTers! Thanks for the support.

Cheers,

Mary

Jenn - doesn't make any difference how many times it takes to "get it"  the important thing is you get back on track one more time than you get off track.

Hello, everyone:

To say it was a busy weekend would be an understatement.  While I haven't been able to get out to work out, I have made up for it by shoveling:  1 hour on Friday, 5 hours on Saturday, and 4 hours yesterday!  I need to do a couple of things with the snow today -- but not anything like before.  I feel lucky to be able to move today!  lol

More snow on the way -- cannot believe it.  I don't know how you all do it who get this kind of snow all of the time!  I'm tired!  :)

Planning for food has been sporadic -- but I am trying to focus on protein and getting liquids in....though I have to say that I am somewhat dehydrated and need to really concentrate on that.

Food:

B:  Banana
S:  Muscle Milk Light
L:  Cheese and crackers
S:  Protein shake
D:  Greek yogurt
S:  Protein pudding

Have a good one!
