I am going to have to tread carefully today. It's snowing and wind chill is 30 below zero. This is one of those days the only thing to do is veg and snuggle by the fire. I just need to make sure I don't give in to my comfort foods.

Uhm.....30 below??? Wow -- no complaining here after what the President has termed "snowmaggedon...!" Stay warm!
The snow tends to make me want to fall back on old habits with foods...comfort foods, like you....so I am making sure that what I cook is protein packed....dinner tonight is chili -- loaded with lean meat and beans. This weather used to always be a good time to bake...so I am struggling with the desire to do that. :( Maybe if I shovel enough, I will be too exhausted to do it! lol

I'm fortunate enough to not have to deal with the "Snowmaggedon" that you're going through--brrrr!
Slept late, had breakfast at 0830: GNC Dutch Chocolate shake w/1% milk, a small banana and multivitamin.
Lunch: Spinach salad w/fresh peppers, onions, and tuna, with balsalmic vinegar dressing.
Snack: coffee and a "Think Thin" protein bar w/20 g protein and 230 calories
Went to a movie: Crazy Heart (Great story, wonderful music!) and had apricots dipped in dark chocolate (VERY bad choice, but tasted great!)
Dinner: Broiled scallops, garlic bread, 3/4 of a glass of wine
Snack: decaf tea and another "Think Thin" bar. Who am I kidding? Only myself.
Tomorrow I walk--I don't care if it's raining.
