Hello everyone!
My name is Laura. I had RNY in July of 08. I have lost 105 pounds. I would like to lose another 30 pounds.  I am from NJ...I have 2 kids, a husband and a job I love...school librarian.
I feel kind of discouraged.  I really need to get myself back together. I am letting the stress of everyday life get in the way of my health. I really do not put myself on the priority list at all. 
I keep losing and gaining the same 3-4 pounds.  Finding time to exercise, planning food more.
I don't feel like I can relate to the newbies on the RNY board.  Though I feel guilty about not "paying it foward" since I got so much out of it. I guess I also feel as I did not reach my goal I am not one to give advice.  
so I was glad to see the invite to join here. I hope to be an active member.

WElcome to the group, Laura! I'm in the same boat as you, needing to lose another 30-40lbs. I keep losing and gaining the same 5lbs. You will find that we all struggle with the same problems.
You've found a good place to be!

Laura - WELCOME   I hope you find this site as helpful as I have.  I, too, gained 30-35 pounds about two years after reaching my goal.  With the caring, understanding, acceptance, and support I found here I have been able to shed those pounds, reduce my goal weight by 5 pounds, and MAINTAIN (something I've never done before in my life and I'm 77 years old)  There isn't a doubt in my mind that without this group I would never have been able to get back/stay on track.  I call them angels in disguise as humans

Hi Laura,

WELCOME    We are so glad to have you here.  You can still pay it forward elsewhere but we need someplace we can come and feel we can fall and someone is there to help pick us up.  BOTT is the place... 

WE suggest to review the docs to help get back to the basics.  Write down what you need to do get back on track and then make another list of what you are not doing.  Take one or two at a time and put them in practice.  If you fall, get back on the horse 

WE have our Cafe and Cardio thread so you can be accountable with your food and exercise.  WE also have a BOTT 911 thread where you can go if you feel like you are going to have "one of those" days.  WE try to talk each other off the ledge. And if you jump, we are there to catch you
