Planning your day
Hi Scentsy Girl,
I usually try to plan my meals two to three days ahead of time...sometimes I change the menu if I see something on the Cardio & Cafe board that I might what to try, but I'm usually pretty basic. I use Calorie King to count my calories, carbs, and protein.
Because I work the afternoon (5p-1:30a) shift, I prepare my (Survival Bag) lunch, dinner and snacks in the morning. I find its easier for me while I'm in the kitchen getting my breakfast to prepare and pack it and put it in the fridge. I get a little more sleep time if I don't have to worry about what I'm taking for work.

I use Live/Strong/user/thedailyplate and after you register go to mydailyplate You can enter your height, weight, exercise level (very general) and how many pounds you want to lose per week. It will figure the calories you need to accomplish that.
Then I plan my food (at least one day ahead - better if it's 2 or 3 days) within my calorie limit and regardless of how "hiungry" or not hungry I feel, I do not allow myself to eat over my calorie limit for the day. The surprise was that that doesn't end with having reached my goal weight - if I want do maintain (AND I DO SO WANT TO MAINTAIN) it takes the same planning. I've kept up my planning and I AM MAINTAINING for the first time in my life.
I wish you well.
