Janie..remember your list.  When I want to binge...Mike & Ike's & Chocolate are my demons and my triggers I make a container of SF Chocolate Pudding mixed with Protein and LF ReddiWhip (5cal).  That's also a night-time snack when I want to eat something...I'm like a kid licking the bowl!

I make a stuff I call Orange dream with sugar free cool whip, cottage cheese, fat free cream cheese and sugar free orange jello! It's too die for and keeps me honest, especially at night. I need to make me a bowl!

Mock Rice Pudding is good also...a little too sweet for me...but it is good. WOW  too sweet, did I say that?

I also feel I am cheating when I make my Greek yogurt, SF syrup (strawberry), fresh strawberries and muesli.  YUM!!!

Kathy - Like you, I love my Greek yogurt (Fage).  There's so many ways to enhance it and all of them make my mouth happy.

Off plan a bit for dinner - but made a good choice - Huby and I went out to see what the roads were like and if we'd be able to get to work tomorrow.  (We should be able to).  Decided to stop for dinner  out - vetoed Taco Bell -opted for KFC - got the grilled chicken - which was pretty good - but because I wasn't drinking with my meal (Yay for me), and it was a little drier than I normally eat - it got stuck, and I ended up stopping eating long before I normally would have.  (YAY #2). 

I won't count it as a failure, because it was a wise choice, and I did the right thing...I'm going to review the day to see if I need my protein shake tonight, and if I don't need the protein grams, I'm closing the kitchen.

Hi all,

I find that protein really is my friend.  If I just stop and take stock of what I am eating before I eat.  It's not easy since I am a carboholic but the more I keep the carbs at bay the better I do. 
Balance is really the key to a good healthy life but not easily attained. 
Hoping the best for us all.  Today is a good day.  I pray for a good tomoroow.

Up from my nap and having some coffee before going in to work. I gave into the nuts before my nap!
I'm not hungry now but I'm going to pack my survival kit and stop at chick-filet for some chicken nuggetts. I don't have anything prepared for my dinner tonight. Oh I'll be so glad to take my vacation so I can have a few days more off to think of what I want to eat that is on track. I burned out on tuna.
I'm going to do some surfing on the Cafe and BOTT threads for some ideas, hopefully tonight if we aren't busy. If we are then I'll do it tomorrow afternoon after I get up. I got so burned out on a lot of things.

I will be getting back to my nutritionist at the surgery center to help me in my diet. I want to get the rest of this weight off so I need her help as well.


Please keep giving me your thoughts and ideas! I am so appreciative. I'm getting in the mindset so I will be losing this weight!

Just a suggestion Janie...instead of fried chicken nuggets from Chick-filet (6oz abt 12 pieces 400 cals  19g Fat  15g Carbs  40g Protein)...how about Perdue Roasted Chicken Breast Shortcuts...90 cals for 1/2 cup Fat 2g  Carbs 1g &  16g protein!
