Grumble....was doing okay this morning, until I opened my desk drawer and saw the payday bars that I keep there to reward team members - (it's a cheesy thing, but folks like an 'extra pay day' when they do something above and beyond).

And now I'm craving them.

Ugh.
  Day by Day.

Hey Kellie,

It's been the morning from H*** so thank you for starting this thread.

Suggestion, I think the payday thing is really cute.  But replace it with a really good protein bar.  These are the BEST!

This is a healthy alternative for you and your co-workers.

Now go pay someone that payday and get RID OF IT!!!

Take care,
Kathy

And cravings are just cravings.  They come and they go.  They are brain chemistry that has been triggered, just like a drug addict gets triggered when he sees a tv show with someone using.  It does not mean you have to act on it, and it will go away.  And everytime you resist a craving, your brain chemistry changes.

I do not know how they may affect you - but one of these bars - would make me sick for 2-3 days.  If I dump I dump and stay sick for a few days after...

Ohhhh Doughnuts.*SIGH*. One of our vendors brought in 3 dozen misc. doughnuts this morning. N I cant just throw them away! (Other people are eating them) I have been hiding out in my office trying to avoid them! The worst part, I have to go past them to get my water.

I stumbled about suppertime yesterday and through the rest of the night. Today I am teary about a situation but have not eaten over it yet. Trying to accept life on lifes terms is not my strong suit.
Planning on a veggie omelet for lunch and not planned supper yet.

Just check in to see how you're doing this evening?  I had the same sort of evening last night too, but I'm hoping to do better tonight.  -- Trying to get on here and help others so that I can be of some service and stay away from my "stinking thinking".

Doughnuts tripped me up today too - a consultant rep came by and dropped them off.  Aghhhh...at least I only ate one!

I am feeling very hungry this afternoon.  I have already had to revise my meal plan twice.  Once because I made my plan before I could log it and it had too many calories and fat.  Then again because I was hungrier than I planned for lunch and I ate more.  I felt like I needed to eat more so that I would not find myself grazing through the day.

Sometimes I feel like I just can not win.  The days I think I need more food in the morning, I'm hungrier in the afternoon or evening, other days are just the opposite.

Thanks for allowing me to think and vent out loud!

Are you timing your meals well?

Remember, don't let yourself get too hungry, too angry, too lonely or too tiered - all these things make us eat (well they make me eat).
