Is there a test they do to determine if youv'e stretched your pouch? Has anyone had to go through this?

Well, there's going to your surgeon, he can do an endoscopy to figure that out. They say if you eat as much cottage cheese as fast as you can... that'll tell you. But I personally don't agree with this.

You see, RNY has 2 possible strech 'zones'... the pouch itself, or your stoma. Your stoma is the connection between your pouch and your bowel. If that stretches, food goes through easily as pie, no hinderance. An endoscopy will help deturmine if this is true. If so, a revision, or Stomaphyx might be in order. You can't know either of these without a doctor, though. So I reccomend asking him this question.

Happylapander. We had the same doctor. I was one of the last surgeries he did before getting out of the navy

Isn't he great?!!!!  As far as I'm concerned he could walk on water if he chose to.  Will be seeing him for a tune up March 4th.

We have another connection - my daughter lives in South Bend and, before I moved to Florida, I lived in Mooresville - just SW of Indy.
