Back On Track Together

So far, so good...

I've been working towards putting all of those things learned so long ago into practice again.  For the past 6 months I've gotten lazier by the week.  Stressors and depression took over.  And of course, with laziness come the unwanted pounds.  Hence, the needed changes.  I've really limited my carbs (especially the evil ones) but allowed for some good ones (steel-cut oats, flax seed, etc.).  Upped my protein and added in daily shakes.  And I've been drinking a ton of water (flavored, of course...lol).  I've lost 5 lbs or so (trying not to get on the scale too often...just going with the way clothes fit and how I feel).  And along with food-choice changes I've also been making some life-changes.  Things are feeling good for a change :-)

Good for you Dana!!!!!   You're doing great

You're right on track - going back to basics, remembering what was so important about having the surgery, remembering what your hopes and dreams were then, remembering how many of those you met, remembering if you did it once, you can do it again.  Believe in yourself!!!!!!
