Hello BOTT Family,
Well, we made it through the week. Time for catching up on chores, shopping, dealing with the kids, family and friends. No plans for me this weekend except work...one of my rare Saturdays that I actually have to be here on the job.
It's been really cold with reports of snow flurries this weekend here on the East Coast...so has anybody heard from Spring! Hope everyone is able to stick to their plans and enjoy the day...don't let the Food Demons grab you....

I've been down with a sinus infection since yesterday. So I didn't post yesterday and not sure of what I am doing today, except going to the doc to get some meds. No cardio today. I will be eating light today:
Breakfast - coffee w/lite toast
Lunch - chicken soup
Dinner - soup of some type

Strange what a difference a night makes.. I have eaten so well this past week I am shocked to say the least. Of course my DH has been gone all week and that helps... When I pick him up at the airport I always have a treat for him, kinda a welcome home thing. He loves those heart shaped shortbread cookies from Panera Bread. My mistake was picking up several instead of just one or two. Well......... I ate one, then another and another. 3 Freakin cookies. I was not too worried as I have been working out pretty well. When I went to log my cookies I freaked out...they were...are you ready....300 cals each. Holy sh** batman. UGH
So I went downstairs and did 3 miles on the treadmill and just got back from the Y and took a hard core class and a pump class.
Why did I eat those cookies? No stress, no worries, no emotional reason. They were just damn good
Here is my menu for the day
Breakfast: Oatmeal with protein
Snack: apple with LF peanut butter
Lunch: salad with salmon
Snack: protein shake
Dinner: grilled fish, veggies and brown rice
Snack: almond

It's always a little harder for me to really stick to my meal plan on weekends, but I did get my vitamins & exercise in already. For the most part I did pretty well today. I'm putting in an extra 30 minutes on my treadmill, right now, just in case.

Good morning....er.....afternoon! Where has the morning gone?
Yesterday was not my best day. Kathy was eating cookies....I was snacking on banana bread....oh yeah....what on earth was I thinking??? Tasted good, that's for sure...but today I have to make up for it. Oh, the fun.
It has been snowing like crazy here. The weather people said (up until about a day ago) just a dusting...well, we are looking at about 8" already with more to come. Kinda missed that one, but at least it is the weekend. I have already been out shoveling, so the good thing is I got in some good physical work! :)
Today:

D: Greek yogurt
S: Protein pudding
