Hi Tamara

you are not alone - see my post earlier today!  I understand how easy it is to let the food slide when things in life get tough and we end up eatign whatever is easy!

You and me both, know what we should be doing, we just need to 'DO IT'!!!  As the Nike saying goes.

So here is a big (((((((((((((((((((((((hug))))))))))))))))))) which it sounds like we both need, and now lets give ourselves not so much a kick but a hand up and get going again.  We are not going to go back to where we've come from and we are not going to let this beat us.

We are winners and we can do this.  Feel free to pm me if you need to

PS you are not a failure (although I use those words for myself) Actually we have done really well so far and the fact that we recognise that we need to change some things just goes to show that.  If we ignored everything we knew we should be doing, gained weight and went out of our way to sabotage ourselves, then maybe we could call ourselves failures, but I don't really think so even then.

And doesn't it feel better to have it vented out rather than it going around and around inside!  That's what we are all here for - we understand, been there, done that.

Whoa Tamara - Would you be saying this is even one of your 5 kids needed something?  I don't think so!  You'd find/make whatever time THEY needed.  OK - so remember this - if you don't get your needs met, you have so much less to give others.

You're right - you have some major stressors right now - all the more reason to put yourself first.

I'd see if I couldn't negotiate the 10 parrots going with the separation LOL

Feel free to come here and vent 100 times a day if it helps!  Let us know how we can be of help to your.

Please, PLEASE, P L E A S E, take very good care of yourself.

You can do this - you did it before, so you can do it again.  Believe in yourself!!!!!

Tamara,
Wow!  I think that one of these is in orderbearhug.gif.  You certainly have a lot on your plate!!!  Slow down and get yourself organized.  I find that when my surroundings are not in order, my head is not in order.  Place first things first and the rest should fall into place.  Make a plan and work with it.  Things will get better.
We are all here for you!

Tamara,

I wanna first say *HUGS*

I am right there with you as far as losing 70 lbs, and often feeling like "failure". We have all been there, are there or will be there.

I am a stress eater and I have been trying really hard to know that stress and problems will always be there even if I eat cake or cookies and dont get my water and vitamins. I read a post earlier that said "5 minutes" so many of us feel that if we have made a bad choice that means the day is ruined, instead we need to think about it in increments of 5 minutes... so what you oofed. 5 minutes from now you have the opportunity to make the next 5 better. This method worked for me with quitting smoking to have the surgery.

Like everyone else has said, we all need to make time for us. Your children need you to be healthy for them.  Are you able to keep stuff at your job? Many times I forget to pack a healthy lunch so I try to keep stuff with me, in my car or in my office. That really seems to help.

If you need anything just ask. There are so many great people here, and tons of information to getting BOT.

PS: Have you heard about the 5 day pouch test? That reeeeeally helped me and a lot of other BOTT'ers
