what an interesting chair - how comfy is it?  Would you recommend getting one (or just the exercise ball) for the office?  I'd never thought of that before...working out without realising it...hmm

Its pretty comfortable. Unlike your average work-out ball it has some texture to the plastic, so you're less likely to slide off on accident. The wheels do move freely, so it keeps you alert of your balance and position on it always. There's no arms, so you have to sit upright. I find myself stretching and bouncing on it on occassion, and that's all good for core and balance. I like it, and I think I'll keep it around. I already feel a stiffness in my waist from balancing all day. I think if you got just an exercise ball, that would only serve to enhance the attentive balancing you need to stay upright on it. Which can certainly be a good thing.

Hi, All:

Boy, oh boy, am I feeling the last few days of weight training...but it is the good kind of hurt, if you know what I mean.  I took today off to give my muscles a break, but will be back at it tomorrow.

It is windy here -- in advance of the 9 degrees heading (and modifying, thankfully) our way.  They are calling for snow for us starting midnight tomorrow night through Saturday.  No one's willing to commit to amounts, but that's not unusual.  So, a winter's weekend ahead!

Today's info:

Exercise:  None scheduled

Food:

L:  Soup and salad
S:  Protein pudding
D:  Protein oatmeal (thank you, Kathy!)
S:  Protein shake

Have a wonderful evening, everyone!  :)

I'm Here, I'm Here, I'm Here

It's been one of those days my friends    I was a good girl yesterday.  Sat down and had a long talk with self and said to self, this isn't going to happen if my mind/heart and mouth don't get it together. So I threaten them all with fasting and they decided to snap to it

Food
Breakfast - cottage cheese with protein
Snack - yogurt with fresh blue berries
Lunch - beef rollups
Snack - protein bar
Dinner - wendy's chili
Snack - almonds

Workout - lower body day
Squats (won't be able to walk for days)
hamstring curl
lunges
calf raises
side lunges

If there is any wind left in me I won't to do 30 mins of cardio

Have an awesome day everyone and tomorrow is our weigh in for those that took the January challenge

Take care,
Kathy
