WLS friend dies at 34 from Type 1 Diabetes

Hi everyone,

I'm really not sure why I'm posting this on here. Maybe it is a way of helping me cope with what just happened. I just wanted to tell you all that a good friend of mine, Adrienne, just passed away after having been in a coma for a couple of weeks from her Type 1 Diabetes. No one understands how this could have happened...she was otherwise healthy. She had been maintaining her weight loss and was so bright and cheerful. I guess it really is true that we aren't promised tomorrow. I know I'm going to try to make the most of all the days I have from here on out and take the time to show people how much they mean to me. I hope you all will do the same.

I am so sorry for your loss.  You are so right, we just never know -- and we should live each day to the fullest.  Please know you (and Adrienne) are in my thoughts and prayers.
