Hey Everyone

I hope this finds you doing well.  My BIG issue is stress eating.  Boy I am being tested.  Times are hard and jobs scarce and I am getting calls from loved ones left and right needing money. I am a pleaser/fixer and this is killing me that I can't help and sprinkle fairy dust and make everything ok....

It's going to be a challenge for sure    Yesterday was a good day, here are my stats

Good morning Kathy and BOTT's!

Day 3 for me. So far, I am doing good. Drinking my water and taking my vitamins. Today I had to skip exercise because my knee was hurting during the night. I will try tomorrow as long as I don't have any pain.

I'm getting full on my proteins. Actually the chicken I ate last night got stuck and I had to bring it up. I got to find the balance with the band. I did chew the chicken well. Ugh!

I'm enjoying my AchievOne Protein drink right now. Taking it one day at a time.

Good day to everyone.

Lucy

Hi Lucy,

I can't imagine having to learn all over again using the band after going through the RNY.  Wow...  My cousin had the band and she goes through periods where she can't eat anything.  And then bam she is ok...  Be careful.

Good job my friend

Take care,
Kathy

I want to join the challenge late.  I do still want my goal to be 5% for the month of Jan.  That is 11.5 pounds.   I'm beginning with my "time out" from my doctor where I have only protein drinks and water for a few days.  This gives my body a chance to detox from the sugar and other no-no's I've been consuming.  It also gives a great boost for weight loss at first which helps keep me motivated.

I am planning to walk on the treadmill for 45 min. this evening.

Three protein drinks and all the water/crystal light I can stand are my eating plans for the day.

Send me good vibes for my first day BOTT!!!!

Hi Trudy

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome

That is interesting and thanks for sharing.  How many days does your doctor advise doing this?  Do you get headaches and or withdrawals?

Glad to have you on board

Take care,
Kathy

He suggests three days and yes to the headaches and withdrawals.  I just try to push through them and take some tylonol.

He also says to weigh daily and that if you go up a pound to go back and do the three day time out again.

My doctor is very compassionate and seems to understand the plight of the food addict (ME).

The reason I find this interesting is I do that myself from time to time and glad to know the doctor said it was ok.  Good luck, hang in there and again we are so happy to have you here

Take care,
Kathy
