Hey Everyone

Somehow the word "cold" just doesn't fit how cold it feels outside.  My babies went outside and pee'd ice cubes.

I noticed some had a hard time this weekend...take the time to think about who, what, when and how.  Be sure and journal and this will help you understand why and help you make sure  you over come the challenge the next time.

Here we go for week #2

Good morning Kathy and fellow BOTT'ers.

Yesterday was my first day BOTT. I wasn't 100% but very close. Exercised on my new elliptical for 5 minutes and got in my 60 grams of protein. Was a little bit more on carbs so I will watch that one today.

I am very positive about myself. No more negative feelings about the past. It's time to move on and enjoy my life.

Thanks, Lucy

Hi Lucy,

We are so glad to have you here.  Most of us are trying to lose around 5% of our body weight this month, but your challenge can be anything  you want it to be.

The first step is the hardest so you are already a winner

Take care,
Kathy

Good Morning All,
I'm sorry I missed the Friday weigh in... I'm down a total of 8 lbs since Jan 1.
Had a busy busy weekend so I didn't exactly eat what I wanted, but still found acceptable alternatives.  My family has been very supportative and encouraging.

Have a great Monday!!!!

BIG HUGZ!!!

Hey Kathy,

I had an OK weekend considering how busy I was. My portion size stayed small even though I wanted/could eat a LOT more. I need to find a way to move around inside on top of my current house work. I am just not losing.

Hope your day goes as planned!

It's funny you mention this as hard as I was working (and you too) with all the work on the house I never lost a pound.  That is hard, hard work and you would think we would lose a ton...  Have fun with the house and just as long as you are eating clean hang in there.

Love your pics    The befor and afterwards can be stunning.

Take care,
Kathy

Hey Everyone,

Had a good weekend.  Stayed on the meal plan but I may have to give up nuts.  I snack on nuts between meals (if I need a snack) and this morning I have gained a pound from Friday.  But there might also be another factor that may have played a role (TOM).  I will give nuts one more week and watch that I don't snack too much on them and see what happens.

Curves tonight after work and try to stay warm.

When I got this morning, didn't feel the greatest.  After two cups of hot green tea, I am feeling better.

Hope everyone has a great day
Janet
Have a blessed day!

Hi Janet,

I love nibbling on almonds and other nuts, raw no salt.  If you find  you may be eating to many at one time and we know that is easy to do.  Get those snack size zip lock bags and measure out several bags at a time.   That way you can have your nuts and eat them too    I crack myself up...I know, I know don't quit my day job

Good job over the weekend

Take care,
Kathy
