Skipping

I bought myself a skipping rope today.  Oh My Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!  I managed 2 mins and I was exhausted............and it says I only used up 16 calories.  I've got a long way to go before I can count on it as a form of exercise to balance any extra calories I might eat...LOL  :0)

I'm laughing at the thought of ME trying to skip rope!!!  I haven't done that since grade school and am POSITIVE I couldn't make it for 2 min.!

I'll bet it will be one of those things where you will find yourself adding time little-by-little, and then you'll be amazed at how long you're able to do it--and you can laugh at how fast you initially fizzled out!  Go for it!

Always,
Jo

I havent done it for years either - easy I thought, just like riding a bike - how wrong could I be!!!  It was very funny.  Thank goodness my DH didn't have the camcorder on him at the time...

I am proud of you!!!  You are on your way. When I think of me trying to jump rope, all I hear is 'drip, drip, drip' and me wearing triple padding.  My poor bladder has not been up to that in a long time.

ROFL....that is soooo funny (sorry if it wasn't meant to be!)  Actually I think it must be pretty funny watching me skip as it's not only the rope and my feet that go up and down iygwim? haha
