BOTT Challenge for January - Weigh In Friday

I feel exactly the same way, Ruth, that it's such a help to just sense everybody else on BOTT going through the same victories & setbacks!!!

Honestly, it feels so much better physically (well, psychologically too!) to eat the way I should; I just can't believe the addictive pull that the crappy carbs have for me.

Always,
Jo

Hey all.

Didn't even get the chance to hop on the scale this morning I was running so late. I regreted my morning food choice and have made up for it the rest of the day by staying sooooo busy I didn't have the opprotunity to eat or think about eating. There's a farewell cake in the office and I'm not even tempted. I feel very good about that and about my food choices since thise morning. I've moved on for once!!

I'm not sure that's the right lean cuisine there, the one I have is 140 calories and has broccoli, so I think the calories and carbs are a little off.

We are winging dinner tonight so I'm not sure what it'll be, but here's today's food so far.

Hi Sion

so not only have you literally moved on (to yrou new home) you've moved on in a healthy way too!!!!!  Way to go, well done for not allowing the morning food choice to affect your decision on the farewell cake!

Don't ya just hate it when you eat too much right off the bat at the beginning of the day??  Something like that usually does me in.  But when you put it in prospective, it's just not that big of a deal--if you don't let it be!  Good job letting it go & moving on!

Always,
Jo

I weigh myself on Monday's.  Last Monday I was down 6lbs.  Weighed myself this morning and have remained the same.  Have been sick all week, so 0 in exercise.  Finally feel well enough to hit the treadmill tonight.

Food for the day -

1 serving cocoa wheats
Homel roast beef, gravey and mashed potatoes
1 fried chicken breast.

Getting ready to make an egg salad sandwich.

2 lbs since Monday. Glad but not waving any flags...I've been here a hundred times  before.
Have made it so far today.  Had a narrow escape a while ago but made it through, at least for now.

Calories: 710
Fat: 10
Carbs: 104
Protein: 55

Again it's evening and I feel I need more protein.  A little later when the carb craving kicks in I'll have a protein shake.
